in all seriousness though, where was it confirmed the wendover was finished? or did i miss something

 

no one said it is confirmed, and this is an Update Speculation Thread. So yeah... we speculate.

 

it did, but it goes by the term, like litteraly everything that gets made for this game, When it's ready.

 

so you said it was confirmed that it will be finished, not that it was finished, i misinterprated Wendover: Confirmed to be finished. thats a mistake on my end.

Even more interesting: Wendover is a town in Utah, near the Bonneville salt flats. So the Wendover is definitely dropping with this update, and Utah has been expanded to include salt flats for top speed runs.

If the Wendover is gonna be a coupe, how different is it gonna be much from the LeGran? It's still a FWD shitty econobox like the LeGran. I'm hoping that it's a lot more boaty and unsafe.

 

Legran is probably off a Chrysler lebaron mixed with a olds

Wendover has some 87 Pontiac Bonneville vibes so it could be a bit newer, maybe the chassis will be completely different, I do hope that it is because that would be sweet, but wouldn't be surprised if it weren't

 

Is the Wendover body on frame though? Would be interesting if it was.

 

Man if it were body on frame, that would be so fun, it might be one of the few cars that could detach completely, that would be hilarious

 

I love how the Grand Marshal tears apart from the frame now, I agree it would be cool to have more body on frame vehicles. I did hear that they're redoing the van, pickup, and roamer to make them actually body on frame.

A thing I noticed on an older car like Bolide and I think on some other cars, the seats and headrests don't deform vertically, so if you pancake it on top, they poke through, invincibly

Speaking of clipping, I wonder if we gonna see some tyre on fender/chassis contact? Then I'd be able to have a realistic tyre rubbing simulator when I stance my car to the floor

I'm hoping that if the Burnside gets a refresh, I compiled a list of things that it should receive IMO:

• Optional two-tone paint job
• Wire spoke wheels (we have wire spoke wheels in-game already, but those are for lowriders)
• Optional Tudor body style
• A proper gasser variant
• Stockcar variant

 

I really doubt the burnside is getting a refresh. Or alteast the body is staying the same. I distinctly remember Gabester saying how hard it was to model and get right with all the curves and round shapes that car has.
