You might be interested in the Bandito mod, which in addition to adding a Bronco-like D-Series also adds a Ford-like fascia.
I just checked it out, it looks quite good. I'd love to see something of that nature as official content
Why are you acting like a GTA-like parody name is coming out of left field when we've got cars like the Bolide and both Pessimas?
There is a gap between somewhat realistic Italian flamboyance (Superamerica? Countach? (a Piedmont expression of awe)) or Japanese strange names (Accord? Fit?) and such parodies as Megathrust. In general, stuff like the Moonhawk's trims make me think that USDM is all Greek to the devs.

Okay but pessima literally means "terrible". The word "Fit" makes sense for a small but spacious car, and Accord is fitting for an agreeable, easy to drive family vehicle. But you wouldn't name a car "The Godawful" (Though for a possible banger version of our mystery car, it wouldn't be a bad name )
Accord only seems OK due to the test of time. Reviews of the old ones used to remark on the unusual naming.
That's interesting. If they remarked that Accord was weird, then I wonder what the auto journalists of the time would have said about a real life car bearing the name "Pessima" And, about the Megathrust engine designation, being from Europe it doesn't seem too unusual to me. It's a little more corny than the average 50s engine naming, but honestly I don't think it strays that far from reality, considering Chevrolet at the time had engines like the "Thriftmaster" and the "Blue Flame", while Chrysler had used engines like the "FirePower" and the "Power Giant", names arguably on par with, if not cheesier than "Megathrust".
Firepower is still a different order of corniness, and the Power Giant was to signify a Firepower engine in a truck.
Imagine them adding some kind of 4 wheeled ibishu pigeon of some sort... after all that thing has been completely forgotten over the years
I supose at this point it's subjective, but I see what you mean. Let's just let the devs have their fun with vehicle and engine names Ibishu Pigeon rework when
Bit of a throwback, but does anyone remember this picture that @Nadeox1 posted to his Imgur a while back? I wonder if this worn-but-not rusty skin is still being planned for the Barstow, or if it ever was. Did we ever get evidence one way or the other?
I don’t remember it, but something like that would be awesome. It’s always more fun to thrash around a beat-up car than an immaculate one.
