doing any wagon for the Sunburst would be irreverent, especially because it probably wont be as good.

in that case, any chances of limb dismemberment? the old dummy tended to glitch out (or open a black hole, either way) when the limbs bend beyond the natural joint limits of a human being. i would rather have the limbs break off than bend like the dummy was Stretch Armstrong.

 

Now that work on the Fein is being continued (seemingly out of spite), are you going to be continuing work on this?

 

I agree, on the bending part, and where possible i will just let the limb separate from the rest of the dummy.

 

These are two different mods. Waboll is making his own based more on mk1 Golf.

I'm aware. The Fein came first, and then was abandoned for like a year. Waboll saw it and wanted to make something like it, so he made this unnamed car (I think they're both based on the MK1 Golf). Direct_UA then accused Waboll of stealing, and now seemingly out of spite is continuing work on the Fein (or is outsourcing it to Dayz Me Rollin', I'm not entirely sure). I just wanted to know if Waboll would be continuing work on his own similar vehicle (which, to be honest, looks a little better to me).

 

Are Dayz and waboll not working on the same project? I guess I haven’t been paying close attention to both.

Airbox needs to be moved, radiator fans need to be removed for clearance and radiator hoses need to be swapped yet

 

If you are right, its kind of ridiculous that the Fein is back basically because someone else wanted to do something similar. Did Direct_UA intent to keep an eternal monopoly on Mk1 Golf mods or what?

 

It's stupid. Don't even know why Direct_UA, Dazy and co are even working on it. It doesn't look as good as waboll's mod and makes no sense as it's FWD but shaped like a RWD

That time and energy could be better spent elsewhere

 

The fein is more based on a mk2, the wabol mod was a mk1. There is room for two mods on the internet believe it or not, it's not dayz's or direct's fault Wabol abandoned his, in a year when he goes back to it are you all gonna give him crap? Cause this is just dumb and immature now carrying on cause a mod creator got motivation back to finish their work, one cannot be to blame for where their motivation comes from.

I know for a fact Dayz and company are doing a lot of jbeam/handling work to make it right so for everyone crying about it just being a squashed etk there is not really any truth in it, it will not perform like the etk.

 

whoever releases their mod in a finished state first wins, in my books.

I would say the hood but that would probably result in a copyright violation as that is where Jeep puts theirs.

it doesnt say Jeep, and the Hopper doesnt have the same body geometry as a Jeep, so it's completely legal

as for my, i would say the fenders above the black trim but below the hood

and i would not call it a UTE, it's much more a truck that a UTE. UTE's have one body, not a cab and a bed.

you don't capitalise ute, it's not an acronym.
2 in australia, we call anything from a mightyboy to a land cruiser with a tray a "ute". to us, a "truck" is something like either a dodge ram, or a gavril T series

(this might be a little enthusiastic, But I hope to also make a RHD version, a troop carrier body, and some sort of turbo diesel V8, mostly inspired off the toyota 1VD. basically if the hopper was still being sold in australia/south africa.
