Also does anybody know how to make the independent rear steering work? I got it to work, per se, but when i try to bind it to a new input (for my Xbox controller) instead of the G and H keys, it doesn't do anything, and the G and H keys are all that will work no matter what. Is there any fix for this? I really prefer the independent rear steering over the all-together steering.
I dont know if its the best way to do it, but i went to vehicle rather than vehicle specific and changed the g and h functions
hopefully next week ill have some motivation to start the in depth track tutorial. if you need me, reach me on discord since ill get notifications. Im not happy with wf15 and 16 in terms of how the tracks play. id like to make them more precise. before christmas for sure.
I'd love an actual tutorial. I want to make tracks, but i can't find a tutorial anywhere about how to get the map editor to work. Everyone expects you to know how to use it, there's no "for dummies" for people like me.
If you don't want to wait, he does have older tutorials you can watch. It's a bit outdated (such as Blank Map 2 not being released yet), but it still gets the job done. (It's up to you if you wanna use Blank Map 1 or 2, you can use 1 if you wanna follow along, but 2 looks a lot nicer, but you do you):

Hey, I i use my laptop quite often for this game, I noticed when i plug in my wireless keyboard the independent rear steer works. Might be just a computer specific issue hope thiis helps
I had he same problem, its something to do with the laptop. the laptop controls dont work. so its a laptop issue, not just a certain kind of computer
I had this problem too, but I looked more into the controls on BeamNG and found that the vehicle control panel has a 'g' and 'h' function hidden in there. If you find that just add your desired button to the 'g' and 'h' function and you should be good to go! I hope that fixes your problem!
