That's excellent, thanks for looking into it, must admit I was pretty salty when the 1.5 went in but only the SOHC . My dream caterham spec is the 310 with the highly strung 1.6 sigma. I reckon the Covet 1.5 would make a fantastic analogue for this, moreso than the more dated Miramar engines. The whole point in this model in real life is to offer the performance overlap on the lower end 2.0s but in a slightly lighter but much more extreme package.
It is absolutely amazing. My only problem is a buggy transmission. I use a Logitech G920, and it seems to have trouble knowing whether it is in first or neutral, I can be in first on my stick, but it sees it as neutral and vise versa. This doesn't happen with any of my other cars, so hopefully it can be fixed with this car.
That's weird. Any particular variant? I wonder if that might be something that only happens with sequential gearboxes (RR/RW variants and the SL410R)
You're using a Sequential transmission when that happens, aren't you? I have a G29 & have the same issue in every car that has a sequential transmission, so I just choose to switch gears with the paddles instead of the shifter itself
Yeah if you shift with an H pattern gearbox and the car has a sequential it can get confused if you lets say go from 3rd to 1st it will put you in 2nd instead. There's no neutral position in a sequential gearbox between gears only between 1st and reverse.

Working on fixing up one of the last few things I think is seriously lacking in quality in the interior.

Thanks for this awesome mod. I made three true-to-life versions of Caterhams with it: 270, CSR and 620R. For this I altered your engines to have the actual powercurves and modified the drag massively, as your versions basically have no drag it seems. They all have realistic topspeeds and acceleration now, if you equip the windscreen. I also found out, why your mod and most others don't have a FFB-slider in the tuning menu. Reply, if you are interested.
Drag was a bit eyeballed so it might be horribly wrong. I don't want to play with the current powercurves, since the Ibishu engines act as a "lore friendly" engine option for a beamNG Caterham, however if you have better values for drag I'd be happy to change them. I know Caterhams aren't the most aerodynamic things out there. For the FFB variable I thought it had it before? Might have gotten broken in the last patch, as I noticed the variable is called both at the root component level and inside the steering rack itself. If you have a fix already that would save me the work of having to investigate I am going on a work trip, so I won't have access to a PC capable of running beam for the next 2 weeks, so I won't be able to test/release anything, but I should be able after that.
I'm pretty new to Beam, so I just learned that most people like to keep it lore-friendly. As for the drag: I just changed the main drag value: Spoiler: superlite.jbeam "Trackfab_Superlite": { "information":{ "authors":"TrackpadUser", "name":"Blackpool Superlite", }, "slotType" : "main", "slots": [ ["type", "default", "description"] //bodywork ["trackfabSL_frame","trackfabSL_frame", "Body",{"coreSlot":true}], ["licenseplate_design_2_1","","License Plate Design"], ["paint_design","","Skin"] ], "scaledragCoef":3.7, you don't need the variables in the steering rack section, just the main one: Spoiler: superlite_suspensionF.jbeam "trackfabSL_steering": { "information":{ "authors":"TrackpadUser", "name":"Steering rack", "value":500, }, "slotType":"trackfabSL_steering", "flexbodies":[ ["mesh", "[group]:", "nonFlexMaterials"], ["superlite_TieRod", ["Ftierod","fhub"]], ["superlite_SteerRackBody", ["body","SteeringRack"]], ["superlite_Steerrack", ["Ftierod","SteeringRack","fhub"]], ], "variables": [ ["name", "type", "unit", "category", "default", "min", "max", "title", "description"], ["$toein_F", "range", "°", "Wheel Alignment", 0.0, -0.1, 0.1, "Toe-in", "Adjusts the wheel toe-in", {"subCategory":"Front"}], //["$ffbstrength", "range", "", "Chassis", 1, 0.5, 2, "Force Feedback", "Scales the force feedback strength for this car", {"minDis":50, "maxDis":200}],// . . . The digidash was broken, but I agree that's a fairly minor thing. Just seemed like a good excuse to switch it to the new PBR materials I'm probably going to do something similar with most of my mods over the next week or so.
