Why ditch those 3? Kentarch is the only third party manufacturer we have and it's great to have a Centurion stand in. They made some really quirky conversions and third party conversions don't often get represented in games, and wouldn't be in Beam if Kentarch got ditched. I love that they took the quirky route for the D10/20(?)/30. Not sure why to ditch the Custom Classic either, it's a cool config and IMO the combination of step side bed with intermediate facelift looks great. Between the aesthetics, sport suspension/exhaust but not a performance engine, and being a D15 that is factory but not a work truck or special edition, it's a unique config. As for the drift truck... I do feel that many, if not most, drag/drift/track configs feel unfinished in game. Many need at least skins, body kits would go a long way as well. However, I don't think it should be removed. Drift machines made from full sized trucks aren't unheard of and it isn't the only weird drift vehicle we have in game. In fact, most of our drift vehicles are rather odd...

Personally I'd ditch the 5.5 for a lot of those models; I would prefer to see big blocks and V10's exclusively for the mid/late facelift D35, maybe even the D25.

I'd also split the RS into 2 different trucks. Make the pre-facelift into an aggressive big block muscle truck, the mid and late facelift into something more in line with the GM/Roamer RS (so a body kit on the Sport model we had before the remaster).

Ehh, it just seems that the Kentarch would be better as a "D10/D30 Roamer" config. I did split the RS into the RWD 423 pre-facelift and supercharged AWD post facelift in both sheets

Having the Charro disapear and be replaced with the Roamer makes sense historically. The C/K Blazer turned into the Tahoe and merged with the Suburban line, the Bronco was replaced with the Expedition, and the American Ramcharger just fizzled out unceremoniously. The 1990's was a turning point for the truck/SUV segment. Manufacturers realized that people daily their pickup trucks and SUV's turned into the full sized family wagons we have today as 2 door SUVs disapeared.

Personally I'd prefer to have the Charro merge with the Roamer, I think that would be the best representation of the historical trend towards family trucks. Once we actually get Charro configs make one of the luxury trims called the Roamer and introduce a 2 door pre-facelift Roamer to replace the Charro which itself unceremoniosuly fizzles out without a trace without getting the 2000 facelift.

Has someone made a post that combines all of the current inaccuracies (major and minor) of the D Series that the community has pointed out? saves having to keep saying the same things over and over.

Definitely the biggest thing that's wrong with the D Series is the fact all variants have rear disc brakes.
    D15 Fleet as an example.

Drums on the rear make more sense for a vehicle like this, Mind you disc brakes aren't too much of a uncommon conversion on custom pickup trucks of this era.

I think that having the Charro be phased out and replaced with the Roamer makes sense because Chevrolet renamed the K5 Blazer to the Tahoe, Ford replaced the Bronco with the Expedition, and Dodge discontinued the Ramcharger in the United States and replaced it with the Durango.

I imagine it goes something like this:
    upload_2020-11-8_16-52-56.png
in 1990, when the normal pre-facelift versions are taken out of production, the charro is removed as well,
bar the marauder, which is continued for the military, and the zeta, which may be a sort of civilian spinoff of the marauder.

But then there could have been a civilian variant of the Charro for the 1990 to 1992 model year but it might have not been as popular.

I wonder if we will ever get a smaller Ranger/S10 sized pickup at some point. This allows for a smaller SUV model and Ibishu badged model as well.

If we were to get a smaller truck, i'd imagine it would likely be from a different era (either <1979 or >2000) in order to fill more demographics. for the same reason I wouldn't be surprised if it were only from a japanese brand.

Definitely something more modern first like the current gen Ranger, also something larger like a current gen Ford Superduty. But yeah there is a lack of modern utility vehicles in BeamNG.

So the D45. Neato! My question now is if that means bigger diesel, stronger diesel, or different diesel entirely. This seems more likely: a GM-style 6.0 gasser V8. But I'll keep my hopes up for the least likely engine: a Mopar-style 8.0L V10

I think they will just reuse the current diesel, it's probably capable enough

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but since the D-series is currently getting a refresh I thought I'd bring it up. The dually fender lights are currently amber front and back but the back 2 should actually be red. Small detail I know, but it's all the small details that make this game great. Also the dually should have three red "identification lamps" on the back of the truck somewhere, usually on or right below the tailgate. I attached some examples below from different eras and manufactures. Also they aren't brake lights, not every light has to be dual function like somebody seems to think based on all the trailers in game.:p

Anyone tried to see what the Roamer dash looks like in the D series?

I would do it myself if I was skilled enough.

Try restarting your game, if that doesn’t work, then restart your computer, and then if that doesn’t work, then deactivate your mods.

It ain't broken for me. Defintely something on your end. Try deactivating mods that mess with the d series or any of the common files.
