Thanks for the update! Really enjoy your transmissons. However the ETK800 8AT doesnt seem to start from 2th gear. Neither can it be put in H mode.
Have you put new updated mod in your Beamng Mods folder? I test drove ETK 800 and it starts in Gear 2 in you shift it into H. It only works if you choose 8AT gearbox from this mod, not stock 8AT that comes with game. Yes, if you be wondering, I have latest mod in game and H works.
I use the in-game repository. I will try delete it and install it again. See if that solves it. Update; That fixed it. Thanks for the mod! I really enjoy it! Hope you keep adding more content and improving it

Hi, I have one little question, does the "dctClutchMaxTime" also applies to downshifting? Because I feel like it is only affecting upshifts.

Hello, I cant find the custom motors for the Toqgrac QE, Vivace Q or eSBR.. Mod says its been updated but motors dont apear. Any idea how to troubleshoot this?
Sometimes when updating the mod, the old file is not deleted automatically. Please search your mod folder for file "at_logicmod_d0p" and open the zip, there should be an "\at_logicmod_d0p.zip\vehicles\sbr\sbr_ev_logicmod.jbeam", if it's not there download the file manually (click the orange "Download Now") and replace the file in your folder
Would you mind me adding the .lua files to my mods? My mods all used your old throttle-based Torque Converter lua, and I would like to update them to use the newer version of your code.
I don't mind. Modding using my mod lua is allowed and welcomed. Keep in mind that some of the lua codes are a bit clunky.
Hey, I don't know if you are still working on this mod but the devs improved again the dcts v0.22.2, they became even smoother and better on some points than your dcts (especially on low rpm downgrades and mid rpm shift ups (between 2000-4000rpm)), you should definitely take a look on it !
The smoothness and the launch logic improved, but the upshift from 1st to 2nd is still too high even with low upshift jbeam(ETK800 8DCT). I'll see what I can do. EDIT: according to my understanding, the 0.22.2 update fixed a few thing. 1. 1st gear no longer coast in neutral 2. Open clutch at launch improved. Full brake and Full gas fully disengage the clutch (to use two-step), tiny brake and gas does not fully disengage (to hill start without rolling back) 3. Prevent money shifts because of wheelspin logic improved. The wheelspin shift prevention logic is already implemented long ago. This update makes the DCT able to downshift when driving over water (try that on Utah), before the update when you drive over water in D, the transmission almost always keep that gear instead of downshift. However, the officital ATs still don't downshift on water. The smoothness at mid rpm of the official DCTs are the same as before. The reason that some of my DCTs are worse because of my failed attempt in improving the smoothness at low RPM, low throttle and low aggression. I forgot to mention what I did to the DCTs in the version 4.0 update. 1. Partially engage the clutch when coasting down at very low rpm "clutchCoastdown" 2. Made the shifting time even longer when coasting during downshifts "dctClutchCoastdownTime" 3. A tiny bit of throttle was applied during downshift to reduce engine braking. "dctCoastdownThrottle" You can find them on the lua and jbeam files. What I'll probably do on the next update 1. Remove all codes related to "clutchCoastdown" "dctClutchCoastdownTime" "dctCoastdownThrottle" since my attempt to further reduce the downshift brutality was failed. 2. Implement the new wheelspin shift prevention logic to downshift on water, and do the same on the modded ATs. 3. Use the officially implemented clutch control at launch logic instead of my custom ones, mod to make the code compatible to the winter/crawler modes.
Really liking this mod. The only thing that bothers me is the single-clutch transmissions, they shift so fast and seem too refined compared to those I have driven in real life with an automated single-clutch like the Peugeot partners and smarts I have driven with a single clutch they have that delay when changing gears where the car has time to slow down even. I might be wrong but it just feels so much faster in game than IRL. In the FCV it feels really good tho. I tried the sunburst and ETK 800 first and it seems almost like a DCT in those.
