Update Speculation thread

I believe the partially-covered yellow car is an ETK K series based on the height, position of the A pillar, and rims.

 

After doing some further examination, I have to disagree. The K series has a much different front bumper than the covered car, while the Sunburst's is almost identical. The K series also sits lower and is wider than the mystery car, and lacks its quite distinctive Sunburst-shaped front end.

 

The cars under tarps aren't teasing any new cars, if you look in the files the models are called

The yellow car was easily identifiable as a Sunburst from the beginning because of the Sunburst front bumper.

That's not entirely true. Hillclimb has many categories and strict regulations/rules. Check HSA or FIA.

My point is that the top-end versions over 2000cc are basically lmp cars, therefore gt1-2 with different configurations. Same with other versions that could use superbuild parts from gt 3 or gt 4 for a hillclimb build.

I don't really mind about metric gauges since I've learned both number scales but I really want diesel gauges to be added, because the stock 6.0 diesel V8 is very low-revving, it can't even reach the ~4800rpm a stock 6.9 423 gas V8 can!

I just hope it gets a Flat-6! The 2.5 Flat-4, although an extremely competent powerplant, has its limits after some time! After all, the Flat-6 configuration is a niche to be filled!

 

We already got a Roamer remaster, but they could be teasing it for those cars in the future?

 

Not everything has to be a teaser.

Sooner or later they are going to have to bring everything up to par which has not already been.

 

The Sunburst definitely needs it above any other car, and the Barstow also needs one, but I don't think the developers would tease remasters by putting props around some maps.

I think it's just the model name at this point.
It is certain that the Sunburst will at the very least get a quality update, that's the plan for any outdated looking vehicles after all

 

Pigeon needs remaster. it only has 5 configs and 2 engines .
Also new body (hatchback, wagon) would be cool.

 

A lot of the older cars need an update and there no way at this point to tell witch one will be next if at all.

I'm getting tired of seeing X needs a revamp, Y needs a revamp etc.

All cars gets revamped from time to time to stay up to date.
There's not a lot of update speculation about it really.
