That car is probably my favorite in the game, and I really hope it'll get some more powerful variants and diesel, as like @surprisinguser1 said, a wagon variant.

Fun fact : the first car I spawned in beamng back in 2016 was a Matte orange Stanced config

But, does that mean that in the next update, we'll get the Pessima remaster, a Moonhawk remaster, a Bolide remaster, and a Brand new car ? I understand why the delay was so long then !

Moonhawk remaster is not confirmed yet iirc.
But atv_123 said there will be a big thing for this update, and i think it's bigger than a car revamp and the reason it's long.

 

New pessima update teaser

 

I mean, JsZ's '96 Pessima mod has like 40,000 downloads. It looked good too, as it was the era before he committed big dumb.

Whoops! My bad! Anyway, if the new car that was teased is in fact a Pessima, how does everyone think that will look in the vehicle selector? Do you think they will add a new Pessima entry, or consolidate all the models into one singular vehicle with facelifts?

I hope there is a Turbo V6, a Wagon version and AWD (since the Independent Rear Suspension has been equipping both Pessima generations right from the get go)!
I also hope the 1st-gen Pessima gets remastered too! Some details at least, like the dash clock, have to be corrected!

No, there are platform differences between them and they are different enough to be separate, unlike the Vivace and Tograc which are only differencied by taller suspension and different bodywork.

 

I mean, there is a VERY SLIM chance it will make it into this update, but don't count on it. I say this because that was announced before Tdev said that the update won't be released until November, but still, don't count on it being released this update.

There are platform differences between the different D-Series chassis', and they are all still consolidated into one model in the vehicle selector. (not meaning to sound rude)

 

Oh. Oh my goodness

 

The car shown here looks slightly facelifted (different grille, different bumper, smooth headlight casings for smoother lighting and fog light inserts, which the 2nd-gen Pessima never had until now) so I certainly expect facelifted versions to enter the Pessima lineup.

 

It doesn't seem to match the very first teaser we got with the "black" car

I've been seeing some people speculate an AWD system for the re-mastered Pessima.

I mean, I suppose if the devs can give an 80's grandma car (LeGran) optional AWD, it would make sense for lore if the Pessima got one as well. I don't feel it fits the car, though.

That's just me, though.
