Map of the USA

Is there a mod map of the entire USA for this game? I wanna do an endurance challenge for some of my trucks.

 

Jesus, the WHOLE USA? Do you have any idea what kind of computer that would take to run (assuming it’s even possible?) American Road is pretty big though, it should be enough for your needs.

it won't even load. I am using a Ryzen 7 4800H laptop with 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and an RTX 2060.

 

You might not be waiting long enough. First load takes up to 5 minutes on mid-range computers. Shouldn't take that long on yours. But it's almost 9 GB unpacked, so it doesn't load instantly.

Okay, that's weird. How many other mods do you have active? Try disabling a bunch of them. With 32 GB, you'd have to have a couple hundred active to run out of memory.

Hey @bob.blunderton, do you know of any specific mods that are incompatible with Los Injurus?

 

If i am correct, the So-Cal highways mod is incompatible with Los Injurus
In other words, maybe someone would make a very small scaled map of the USA terrain so that people can feel the bumps of the mountains in Colorado or Tennessee.

Another idea: Make a bunch of maps with various terrain features typical of each state. On each one, make a tunnel or some other portal-like terrain feature that includes a trigger to load the map for the neighboring state. Maybe a traffic light that's always red. When the next map loads, the spawn point is at a green traffic light at the edge of the map. Use backdrops based on neighboring states, but have trees, cliffs, or other barriers to funnel the player to the portal.
