WIP Beta released Hirochi Start 3.2

I did the deep cleaning. I deleted a folder under "Vehicles" that I found. But it seems that there is still some trace of the previous version. Are there any other folders or files that you know I need to delete?

 

Shouldn't be after that, search for anything called 'start' in the whole BeamNG documents folder, and see if something appears then. No other mods should affect this eiter...

 

I've found a very odd bug. During some collisions, seemingly when the right fender is damaged by the left isn't, the left fender changes to a very weird texture.

 

Thanks for the report, I was hoping it was an issue with my cache or anything else but only on my side...I've been debugging this for quite a while (by wrecking the car ) and somehow I discovered by removing the right mirror, it works fine

No matter the exterior skin, the gauges/lights skin, even if you use the stock standard Sunburst doors and mirrors. If any right mirror is in, that happens. If it's not there, it doesn't. And even funnier is, that weird texture is the broken light texture, in fact the circle in the fender when that texture gets applied is the light bulb. Really weird...hopefully I'll find what's causing such a strange bug...

EDIT: Found it! The deformgroup of the mirror signal was still in the mirror jbeam, so for some reason it made this happen, but now it's sorted

I have a question.
I added it, but I couldn't find it.

 

All trims are listed under the Hirochi Sunburst, not as a separate vehicle.

 

I don't know if this has been mentioned already but the diesel gauges are inacurate by about 1000 rpm, the rev limiter starts when the gauge is showing 3.500 rpm when it should be 5000 rpm

Not sure if this bug have been reported, but the 5-speed gearboxes remain to have 6 gears

 

These two models look like the exhaust pipe is not connected.

The rearview mirror for the rhd version is flipped. The interior camera also isnt centered for the rhd version but not sure if this is fixable since all the rhd car mods seems to have this same issue with the interior driver camera not cenetered.

Good news, I managed to sort out all the reported issues posted on this very same page, including a few I encountered myself, including the gauge cluster, which was not being lit at all.

Update is awaiting approval now

Oh yeah, I forgot another bug, in the "Start Super" variant, when going over 5000 rpm, it will begin to have over rev risk. Not a major bug, but it's just a bit annoying

I'd also just like to say that I've always had fun messing around with this mod, even after all these years. I find myself having the most fun in cheap cars

Just noticed a bug with the incorrect materials for the right turnlight. Just change the signal_L for the right turnlight to signal_R, if it's even possible.
