not trying to be nitpicky however the foglights on the refreshed pessima sport bumper uses the standard lighting
Just updated the mod, if there is any issues please tell me so I can fix them. Anyways have a great day
Looks like Bastion low beams got flares for high beams and vice versa. Bus high beams have both modded and vanilla lightcones. PS. About Vivace lightpatterns (again ). Few days ago I saw car with similar light patterns like Vivace. It even has that dark gap near the front. However that gap looked smaller than in game. So light patters are fine, they are just a little too small. Red - current size Yellow - my assumption how big it should be
Alright, ill go fix it now. Im a bit clumsy so things like that slip out mb anyways, should be fixed in about 15 mins.
I'm glad you fixed it so quickly. However there's another issue with bus. When turning on high beams low beams are turning off where they should stay on. Also on Bastion low beam flares are still brighter than on high beams.
Thanks for continue this work. do you take some requests for mod cars? like the Crown vic you do a good job
It's upto the mod author to decide whether they want to add the mod to their car or not, since, the original author, postmortemslayer, has allowed modification of said mod, there are a few modders adding this to their cars, let's hope more do
Thanks for continue this project! Sorry for my translate English Does anyone here feel the light angle is a bit high like me? When kick full throttle is as high as high beams. Is there a simple way to adjust them so it can be lowered?
Hi, yes I can make the light aim slightly lower but it will be too low. You can check out the current mod with the eSBR, for me thats way low (thats about where the foglamp beams should be). So i think its about that level, however you can change the x values to lower the beam down a bit but that will obviously reduce your vision at night. --- Post updated --- Hi, currently for modded cars im still trying to figure it out. I got it working for the well known ETK S series, but on other unofficial mods like the aston martin DB11 I still cant get it working. But ofcourse when im able to I will. Probably when I do make it ill make upload a separate zip file.
Maybe just one more idea; If you cannot lower your beam pattern with ''x'' value, you may try just lower the picture file? Hope it's understandable. -Fabio
Oh alright alright, so should I re-adjust all the headlights? For the editing the X values its quite straight forward so shouldnt be that hard. Also I remembered that the ETK1300 (the suv mod) has a headliht pattern. I asked the author if I can use that for this mod sometime in the future. Still waiting for a response though. Anyways, I do apologize if progress is slow as lately I have been a bit busy so I hope you understand. Thank you
I'm not trying to push you or something, don't get me wrong. Just take the time you need. Sorry if my post was understood this way. - Fabio
Oh no its fine, im not getting pushed or rushed to make updates but I personally feel that the progress I made on this mod is quite slow and that I need to dedicate some more time on this mod. Anyways, that aside I changed the vivace and tograc beam patterns and ill release the update soon as now Im adjusting some other cars beams such as the roamer as i feel like its too high.
the headlight pattern for the etk 1300 was made by some dude named "expired" he also created a headlight mod similar to this which is outdated and no longer works link: https://www.beamng.com/threads/realistic-lighting-mod-realistic-headlights-projectors-etc.38933/
Is it possible to make the beams adjustable in game? Some Lua trickery, or jbeaming stuff? I'm not that knowledgeable on that stuff, so, curious to see what can be done
Oh yes thank you, I didnt know that. Uh for that I dont know much about coding (almost nothing actually) so I dont think I can make that. Also if i can make the beams adjustable in game then probably also make it turn and things but again, I have no experience with it. Soon though I can edit the beams so that they aim slightly lower. Also for the new vivace and tograc beams, are they too high? If they are then ill lower them and ill know how low beams should be.
