Hiya mate, so there is a high speed steering rack that responds to steering inputs quite fast, and a drift steering rack with more angle that responds rather slowly. I would love to see a combined version!
Ah okay yeah. They're basically just supposed to be 'Quick Ratio Drift/Race Steering'. I've changed some values, so when I update the mod please let me know what you prefer I could add a sport steering variant as well or something if you'd like I don't live in the UK and I don't think we've got that sorta thing over here.
This is fantastic man. My only problem is that its very hard to control... i cant seem to tune it to not oversteer.
I wanted to keep the indicators and license plate, but needed drag slicks --- Post updated --- Sorry to spam this, but LOOK MA, NO HANDS!
Having a *front* swaybar should help a decent bit. If that's not enough you can try stiffening up the front springs and widen the rear track width. I really wonder how this drives lmao. I want to try figure out if I can attach the fenders to the track width offset + "individual" offset
It'll only drive if you straddle a ditch lol. I wonder if it's possible to create a "slot car" track for that purpose I imagine you could create a variable on the position, this was just a result of me ignoring the fenders when widening the suspension lol
Nope. If it oversteers, a rear sway bar would only make things worse. You need a race front sway bar that can go really rigid. Another option is to use tires with more grip on the rear, also lower the rear tires pressure and increase the front's.
Hey bud, you can just go into controls and select 1:N scaling to give 100% of steering lock for 100% turn of your sim wheel and then set your wheel range of motion to like 900 degrees or less.
what if expensive aftermarket kit car with weird proportions sterling nova inspired body? yes it's a homemade compact buggy built in someone's garage but it might be able to work since this probably used autobello parts and the sterling nova was a beetle kit car this would probably make more sense as a seperate mod for the pickle but stil a cool idea and we are missing a weird kit car wedgemobile in beamNG
its nice mod i also wrote a positive rating but sometimes when i crash, this black spike will appear from exhaust, it got lot of mods but they are from older game versions, but you can leave that because it didnt have effect on gameplay its on you, i still love it <3 (btw its fokin bangin)
Hah, that's actually the driveshafts. I knew that would happen but I got confused. It'll be fixed in the next update. Thank you, glad you're enjoying the mod!
I already have that for my controller and it works on every single base game/modded car I've ever driven. I think it is something with this mod in particular
