Update Speculation thread

So we know:

1. PBR to other maps
2. Lights on police cars
3. Covet remaster and probably facelift
4. New Civetta

Hard speculations:

1. New Moonhawk
2. Truck missions because of contest
3. Career mode...

So we only see certain vehicles, graphic changes, new items to modify but we not focusing on other things like map view from 0.24. Its hard to believe that new cars and PBR taking them so long. Obviously hardest map to update to PBR is Italy but for me they preparing something like glowing brakes, scratches or things like that. 0.25 will be 1/4 of 1.0 version so they mayby want to add some things to create game more realistic. We haven't seen anything new since the driving experience improved on this topic. We need to sit and speculate on that things because for me update will be sth more than we speculated.

 

The new Civetta hasn't been confirmed for this update yet, we've only seen early concept art so far
However one of the things like glowing brakes or scratches that they are preparing is tyre thermals, they've mentioned it a couple times recently enough so I think we might have a chance of seeing that now

 

There are still no new mods this Monday Moring, don't know what that's about. The latest mods were updated last Thursday. Maybe a sign of something?? maybe not??

 

Easter Monday is public holiday in some places, likely why

ok, here is my speculation:
there where issues getting the realistic performance from the civetta, as a result, we had that long break with no teasers, the devs said 'screw it' and pushed the next vehicle in the queue into production so that a new vehicle would be released, and they wont release what car that is so that it remains a surprise, the civetta will take the spot of this vehicle in the next update once it is all polished to avoid another problematic release like the bastion

 

I would imagine the devs will continue working on the UI, considering devs have mentioned it was rushed for release.

 

Seeing that it's monday and they haven't approved any mods, it could be two things: the update is just about ready, or the devs are just on easter vacation.

I speculate that someday we will stop using "I think the update comes on X date" as speculation.

we only have a round a little more than a month before the next holiday so it will most likley come out from now to memorial day.

 

I swear Beam.ng could be shut down as a company and yall still speculate updates coming out, Tdev literally said no easter update

1. Easter was yesterday.
2. Memorial day is an American holiday, the devs are german.

 

I will say seeing that a bunch of dealers have been added since the last few updates that maybe we will see a way to buy or store cars. Not saying career mode just a dealer aspect. Kind of a gran turismo way of selecting cars.

 

It's not Easter for you anymore. Us Orthodoxes will be celebrating it this Sunday!
