Update Speculation thread

you are aware they are not forced to even update the game are you? consider every update a gift for us. Andsome ppl are compaining and saying they whould be dissapointed if x feature dont come with the update

 

Because we are the paying customers.
Its not like we demand unconditional surrender of all update info we just ask nicely.

How about some speculation of the new buggy that supposedly will be the Piccolina bred thing.
Do you guys think they will cram a variety of engines choices in there like lets say the Hirochi Flat 4 for example?
Would be pretty neat!

 

I hope so, if its got the Autobello engine in it or the Ibishu i4 thats crammed into everything then I'm gonna be a little let down

 

In fact,I'm more interested in ETK K.Did anyone find that developers only post one photo about widebody parts in months?

It seems to me that we might only get a new widebody variant (like the crawler hopper) and some minor improvements as we haven’t seen much of it. Of course it might also be done as a full remaster but the devs want to show us the other stuff first…

 

A few other users have mentioned that much of the structure and driving of the ETKs is mostly up to snuff, so I think a model revamp and general vehicle improvement should be in order, but not a full remaster.

 

Yeah i don’t think etk-k needs a massive overhaul. The only problem I have is that sensitive driveshaft that tends to break after some bumps.
That new bodykit is i think a hint for a new more racey customs. Maybe its for a cup car custom.

 

"I want it" is not evidence for it. There are plenty of us who find an entire new class of content anything but disappointing. Having actual race cars in a racing game would be amazing for those of us who have been asking for such things for 10 years now.

All that aside, who is to say this will only be one vehicle? It's some off road bits mounted to a tube frame. The T-Rex buggy/truggy/car/ultra4/whatever-it-is also matches that description, there's a good chance they will be placed together in the vehicle files. Not really sure why it's even important that they be together in the first place though. The D10 Charro has like 4 configs, would it have changed how exciting it was if they were on their own in the vehicle selector? Or if any of the superbuilds ended up on their own in the vehice selector?

Besides, that won't even change with an accompanying street truck anyway. The Bastion's engines are in the common folder and that's the only thing these even could potentially share.

 

Since you mentioned the Charro, a version with the 5.5 V8 to bridge the gap between the D10 with the 4.5 V8 and the D10 423 Sport would be nice. Same for the Kentarch too, for bridging the gap between the base D10 Kentarch and the D30.

 

the charro needs the old skin back, with the bed cap the same color as below the trim (it should be a separate skin, not a replacement)

 

The little Charro needs some attention in general, but with how much the D-Series got during the remaster and how bored some of the community was getting by the final phase of that, I doubt it'll get the attention it deserves any time soon. For example, I would love to see a Class 3 Charro to go with all the off road content coming up.

 

Yeeeees, this paint design needs to return and I have no idea why it got away actually!
It also needs some chrome trim on the tailgate, for further distinguishing it from the rest of the D-Series lineup.

Well, maybe now is the time to get the attention it deserves! The Class 3 Charro, for example, would be great since it's the body style with the shortest wheelbase!

 

Maybe the trophy trucks, crawlers and offroad racing trucks will be moved into their own "custom" category, and separated from the D-Series.

 

If the Charro is based on 80s and early 90s Ford Bronco, it could be a 2021 Ford Bronco.
