We already have a few (semi)-abandoned industry/oil places across a few maps (Utah and Industrial site). I'd be open to a modern, active site. Plaster city is one of the places I speculated could have been inspiration for this map and that has an active and unique industrial site.
Bro I was watching this whole thing unfold from school but couldn’t say anything cuz I will never use my forums account on the school laptop. Holy cow we got Lucas and LeoLoo *slight* arguing, a concept art teaser with ATVs that may or may not be used and may or may not be photoshopped, and a lot of other drama. God dang
Never have I seen such a backlash about a simple teaser, yes Leeloo did say it would be something big and I don't think this is what expected, but I do not think that attacks were at all necessary.
Same, it was only added because the devs didn't think the Track Builder alone could headline a major update. Having an arcade-like gamemode with the realistic physics was unique, and a lot of fun with the cars of the time (rip Bolide Powerglow ) Also, a bit more on topic: broken axle lol
It would definitely be cool to see a remaster of the trims for these cars with higher performance models. Something I don't feel would be really realistic for these would be a V8 configuration because, based on these vehicles' model years and the existing engines that don't have many non-turbo options. The model years are barely too modern for an NA V8 powertrain like in the E92 M3, and these vehicles are small enough that a twin-turbo V8 would be too powerful for the K-Series and almost too powerful for the 800 Series (which would need a little more weight to hold it back, based on the IRL C63 AMG). If they get some changes to fit a V8 config properly, I'm all for it.
Well, criticism, whether positive or negative is important as long as it is constructive and respectful. The problem I see is that some people were close to forgetting about being respectful today…
I second this. This would make the ETKs more of competitors for other cars in-game (currently, they're really slow). Plus, who doesn't want a V8?
Yes, especially for the K series, since it is supposedly getting some new bodykits, some matching performance parts to go along with it would be awesome
It’s been a long day. But there are two things we should keep in mind. The first is we are all here to enjoy beamng and should keep that fact ready for every message we write and two: we are all human. LeoLoo is human, all the devs are human, Lucas is human, the community is human. As humans we all make mistakes, but that does not mean we should curse them for said mistakes. Especially not because of a game. We may not like the decisions made or things said but that doesn’t mean we should strip the joy of the game away by arguing. We should all come to the conclusions that mistakes were made and move on. That’s my take, take it how you want.
Anyone else hoping for an ariel atom type car for the Bello Buggy? (V8 as the top model, the rest smaller engines). It wouldn't be very hard to accomplish, just toss some race suspension on and it'll do. Though we haven't seen any teasers for it, I hope they'll at least include some aftermarket street stuff.
Something I think would be really cool to see with the K-Series remaster/revamp would be a GT3/4 version, as it fits really quite well into those racing series. If not, I think it's safe to say we could see a modder come out with one. The SBR4 could receive the same treatment too.
