Im imagining K series GT3, Scintilla GTE, and a carbon tubed LMP style car? But on the ETK's maybe they are bundling the I series revamp in with the other two or perhaps another modern ETK? --- Post updated --- On the topic of Burnside, there flag is present at Johnson valley, both confirming that they exist in 2020 and maybe a hint? Some cheap chrome grills on the D series and Roamer making them burnsides would be a fun little bit of lore for them. But its interesting a luxury brand is at an off road racing event
the thing is, the automation devs are drastically limited by manpower, so they have to be super selective about what content they add, and they've often said that interwar cars have too much in the way of unique technology for them to be bothered, I suspect that the bodymorph+fixtures system doesn't lend itself well to open-air body designs, going off the mods that exist. however, the beamNG team don't have any of those limitations, and it's not like they're restricting themselves based on the other game's content plans, it seems more like BeamNG introduces a new powertrain feature, then automation patches it into their exporter a few weeks later.
Not sure if this has been brought up before, and i know I'm probably almost certainly overanalyzing, but I notice the descriptions of the military Stambecco configs mention that they're designed to be transported by helicopter, so maybe they could be planning a transport helicopter for some point in the farther future (likely not anytime soon)? This could eventually open the doors to official aircraft, but the whole game engine would probably need a rework since right now it's not meant to simulate accurate flight dynamics. Still, I'm not sure why they'd include this in the descriptions if the completely ruled it out.
That could mean new tire model coming in anywhere from three months to three years, considering how complex it can get. Perfectly executed shameless plug, I approve
On the topic of that config, I feel like the box designed to be lifted by helicopter should be able to come of with nodegrabber. It currently does not.
Really? Didnt know that, thanks. Edit: wait no, I dont think the whole car is transported, the description says the car has a “removable shelter designed to be lifted by a helicopter” or something like that
This is why commas exist... it could also mean "ambulance with a removable shelter, designed to be lifted by a helicopter"
I’m honestly not sure but either way the point of my original post still stands. Although at the same time, I do think it wcould be fun to be able to take the box off the back or have it come off in a crash.
Hmm maybe there where lifted by heli Also they pack the truck to be pushed from aeroplane with parachute More here: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/pin...teable-stressed-platform--524950900290229175/
For the upcoming update i speculate the tire thermals to be pushed, realistic tire sound/screeches, realistic tire smoke density, realistic burnouts, tiremarks improved, tire deformation and destruction, alloy rim sparks and damage with continued usage ie (driving on bare rim causes damage overtime and slowly engulfs a fire like those police chase footage when a vehicle on its rim continues driving). vehicle dirt, tire marks on vehicle. under fun stuff section a mode to strip the car to a burnt shell, change color to a matte dark brown to give that burnt aesthetic as if its been burnt in a fire. Just my hopes thought id spice up the thread by sharing my thoughts
agreed, also simulations for various drivetrain parts (gearbox/diff/carburetor simulations such as damage/oil would be great)
they explicitly said at the bottom of the 0.27 devblog: I'd say if they're going out of their way to tell us it's been delayed, I don't think they're planning on having it done for 0.28.
