The real Ironhide is based on the later gen TopKick which has the Chevy Express/GMC Savana van cab. If/When I make this generation of Durham, I do want to make a movie spec version of it for some lore friendly movie. Not open for ideas as this is far into the future
Reminds me of "The front fell off...that's not supposed to happen..." Perfect! That's pretty much exactly what i wanted...that's roughly 8-10t of weight, which is easy peasy for the Durham to do without breaking in half Now i just have to manage that overheating - damn cheapo boss not opting for the Ultra Heavy Duty Diesel Radiator...
Thumbs up for the custom config! Just don't forget to equip the big mirrors, meanwhile they seem old, they are ideal for the big versions even for the gen 3. Also I will be uprating the radiators a bit so they don't just die even under normal load conditions
This has quickly become one of my absolute favourite mods - i've already got 5 custom configs for the Durham in various versions! Thanks again @RenAzuma66 for your work "Lore" wise, the fleet manager made a mistake while ordering 20 of those from Gavril directly for ASC. He "forgot" the higher capacity radiator and ordered the wrong mirrors. Game wise, i think the "older" style Mirrors don't look as good and mirrors do not make any sense in BeamNG right now anyway
Fair enough. I was inspired by the Ford F650 more when making the gen 3 and most (not all!) F650's and F750's also have the large metal mirrors on commercial variants, which is why I didn't make "modern" big mirrors
It could be a villain car from the same movie as the Dark Owl Scintilla lol Edit: me who just realized I didn’t read the end of your message…
That would be really cool, and it is possible to make a 2000's Kodiak with the H-series cab, and to make the crew cab, just put one side door on each side of the cab behind the driver and passenger doors.
Hi @RenAzuma66 I don't want to be harsh , mean , or anything like this but will the paid addon just add all upfit we didn't had on vanilla vehicles ? Other than that the mod's great . I really like it .
The paid addon will add quite a few new upfits (all modeled, textured, jbeamed from scratch and all operable), at least 2 new engines and their custom unique scratch recorded sounds and maybe some other small bits of content. It's of course optional so if you don't think it's worth it, you can just not buy it. No hard feelings lol
No , i was just thinking that the pack will include upfit we don't have on vanilla vehicles. I will most likely buy it .
They definitely will, however along with a few existing ones that I want to revamp as I feel that they lack some content and quality on a few aspects. I'm going to be remaking a flatbed and box truck body that will both be used on the Durham... and perhaps some future projects
