The radiator on this car really is very fragile, especially compared to other components which are very strong. But Fido told us to not change any damage physics so we can't fix it unfortunately.
Well i just said i was happy the way the whole cars were deforming and it was big work, so i just mentionned to keep as much as possible of it. But maybe something is possible for the radiators without too much impact on the rest, i don't know (no time to check this on my side unfortunatly).
I'll check how the deformGroups for the radiators are set up, maybe it will be possible to strengthem then a little without too much impact on deformation
I want to find the original Magic Car Sales config for this mod, if anyone has any info if this still exists or if anyone still has it, could you possibly link it or help find it?
Oh my, this is hilarious. I love the engines... "Shouldn't work but it does" and "Shouldn't work and in fact, doesn't" LOL Anyway, is it just me or I can't find that limo version anywhere? I know I can select the limo frame in the parts selector, but it doesn't contain the actual body. Is it WIP? EDIT: forget I said anything, I didn't notice that the mod is divided into several vehicles, oldfullsize being only one, there's a couple more. Wow, this is HUUUGE!
silly question, but did anyone ever rebadge this mod to be lore friendly? Even the Oldfullsize has Oldsmobile badges.
We have decided against a rebadge. It could be done the lazy way by just slapping Bruckell badges on the cars and giving them fake names, but that would just look wrong. And we don't have the time and resources to remodel the vehicles to make them lore friendly either. So it will stay as it is.
Thanks for the info. I asked because I have a silly project in the works. A pseudo-documentary about BeamNG automotive industry. As in; BeamNG is a place/country with an automotive industry. I'm using dev cars and some lore-friendly mods. Oldfullsize would fit between the bluebuck and grand marshal in a production run. As its stand Bluebuck production run started in 62 and ended in 89. 27 years, quite long but not unheard of.
Having the Legacy Bolide mod fixes this one. But we can't depend on other mods so we will be replacing these textures altogether
