I found an issue, ETK 800 ttsport rear brake discs don't want to glow. As you can see the temp is crispy enough. (Just ignore that the whole car is on fire )
Found an issue with the Cherrier FCV siblings... If Rally brakes are selected, they don't glow at all, even while fire. If S-Sport brakes are selected, the glow on the rear-right does not line up with the rotor and actually moves around a bit if turning while braking. Only on the rear-right, all the other rotors are fine. All other brake options (standard, R-Sport and Race) glow perfectly.

I know youre very busy, and probably gets this a lot... But could you? Maybe you could explain(DM) how it works on the brakes, so one could try doing it for the engine... You said it's some texture work with Paint.net, and then there's a HTML part too, so i suppose it doesnt involve any 3d. Does it need jbeam work too?
There is an Issue with the Cherrier FCV Hillclimb Config. The rear Discs are glowing, even though the cars is just spwaned in and has cold brakes.
update of 07/11/2023 i keep having no texture error with sun-glowing like brakes. what can i do? --- Post updated --- same problem here
Yeah sorry, this issue hasn’t been fixed yet. I‘ll include a fix for that in the next update that‘ll also add support for the Landale. I‘ll probably get that done tomorrow, I just don’t have too much time and my new project is very, very time consuming as well
Hey, have you considered adding KLJP cars to this pack? I'd wager a guess that at this point it is are pretty much a must have for the majority of players out there.
I won’t add any mods to this mod as this will create „ghost“ vehicles in your vehicle menu if you don’t have the other mods installed. I allow other mod creators to implement the mod into their cars though, a few have got it as well
Pretty sure that the "ghosts" won't be created if you put all the files in a sub-folder, or at least that's how it used to work some time ago
If by ghosts you mean empty vehicles in the vehicle selector, then no, they won't appear unless you add configs (.pc files) in your mods. Other parts will be just ignored, i.e., my skin pack won't create a ghost Picnic, Signia, or Scout if you haven't bought them yet, even though I have added skins or parts for them already.
Yeah Jbeam does create them. But last time I checked putting the Jbeam in a folder should prevent it.
Actually, I just tested it and it does work withough creating one. Still, won't really add mods apart from my own because I don't want to keep up with everyone's mod updates

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FUTURE UPDATES! Due to moderators recently taking a closer look at their upload rules for repo mods, they have also taken a look at mods that overwrite game files. The brakeglow mod in it's current form overwrites the brake jbeams of every vehicle in game that has disc brakes, it does this to make the brake glow the default. Overwriting files is against the repo rules however. Because of this circumstance, there will be 2 versions of this mod: -One for the repo which will make all brakes with glow OPTIONAL; meaning that they have to be applied MANUALLY to every vehicle you spawn. -One for the forum, which will overwrite files and work just like the mod does right now, replacing all brakes with glowy brakes. This change will be made either today or tomorrow
A pity about this new policy for uploading mods, now mods that replace game files will have to be updated outside the repository, generating fragmentation and the need to verify manually if have an update
