Yep. I would make a gif but I'm on my phone and it doesn't have a recycle bin.

I haven't been on the forums in a while. I feel like I've missed so much since I was last on. But pretty soon, I'll be more active on the forums again. Hopefully, my laptop will be sent to a Toshiba Service Center this weekend for a new screen, a new charger, and a new battery. Once my laptop is back, I'll be able to play BeamNG again!

This was Tapatalk's idea, not mine.

I have a sudden and strange obsession with the AMC Gremlin X. I have to have one, they make me smile.

Well. Looked at a Skoda Felicia today, entire time there was just 1 thought going: "I must have this".
Just waiting on step dad to come home so I can talk to him about it and see if there are any points I missed when looking at it and how insurance transfer etc is going to work. Then ring dealership in morning I think.

Some potential in these cars. I don't know how the aftermarket is for its V8 but there reasonably lightweight to.

I don't think the Gremlin so much, but the Javeline's V8 has a decent aftermarket. I'd end up shoving one of those in it. Or I can go with a 350 Chevy or 302 Ford for an even larger aftermarket engine wise.

    'Tis but a dream, though.

How can an S5 not watch a YouTube video? If you remember your little "Phone Volume" thread, you made it sound like you currently own an S5.

    Re: General discussion chat

Its a felicia. I have a strange attachment to them.

It is far from perfect condition. The drivers door has its own set of keys seperate from the ones that do ignition, passenger door and boot (i'll swap the locks over instead though). The speedo is non functional (suspect cable has come disconnected as part of the cluster was recently replaced, the cable may have simply not been put back on properly). Some surface rust beginning to creep in too. Control for the interior fan seems to do nothing aswell, whether the switch on the other side is broken or the fan is broken I don't yet know, investigation may be required. Bit of trim has fallen off in the boot, part that a screw runs through has cracked.

Nothing particularly nasty and I've checked with a local scrap yard, they still have 1 felicia nearly fully intact which should serve for spares, I know they had 2 more but apparently they've been stripped bare so they don't have much of them left (makes me sad as its the place that mine went and the one that is left is not my one).

But otherwise, everything works. I did test drive it. Its absolutely fine and under £300 so quite a bargain.

    Tell me about it...

In 1976 you could order the Gremlin X with a 304ci V8. I just did some research. It's the same engine that Jeeps came with in the 70's-80's. Edelbrock makes kits for it as does Holley. Apparently the 360 V8 and 401 V8 bolt right into place of the 304 to. Got that Torqueflite swag to if it's an auto.

I'd actually be ok with an auto Gremlin. Those Torqueflite transmissions are really smooth.

Its an auto though, therefore its wrong.

As is youtube getting rid of 144p. 240p is unreliable on my slow slow slow internet which according to rainmeter is pulling a whopping 4kb/s right now.

    Here's how i see it.

    Automatic transmissions are for:
-People who can't drive stick because of medical issues
-People who enjoy relaxed, "one hand on the wheel and one hand out the window" driving.

Paddle shifters are for performance cars, they're really only there to get you a good lap time.

Manual transmissions are for people who want to enjoy a car to its fullest, and have the most control over it.
