ooh a career mode compatability update will this tweak the config files so the non carrer usable trailer does not spawn in carrer mode
2 things, this update won't add career compatibility, and all of the trailers are not compatible as you simply cannot grab and use the ramps. I wanted to use this trailer in career before I realized we had a 5 car limit and my wish was to buy and stock up on used taxis because so many came up for sale lol. I know it's doable with career mods but I don't really wanna dabble into that The rear flipouts are the same idea as the front, they just give you more capacity and the ramps get attached to their ends instead of the deck. While an easier way to use the ramps is appealing both for me and for I'm sure many users, career compatibility is no longer high on my list at least as of time being
i remember you said somthing about putting the dually wheels in a seperate mod for the truck is that still happening
I've released the update including the new wheels, flipouts and other stuff that's now awaiting approval There'll be a changelog going over everything but the notable things that have been added are aluminium wheels, rear flipouts, in-depth wheel customization and the wheels are now also available on the vanilla tiltdeck.
Hey idk if its just me but the right ramp isnt connecting correctly. the right half connects then it wobbles off onto the ground (edit i just had to reset the trailer)
RenAzuma66 updated Grant Gooseneck Wedge Car Trailer with a new update entry: Alu wheels, rear flipouts, tiltdeck wheel compatibility and QoL fixes Read the rest of this update entry...
The ramps have always been node-grab operated and I haven't noticed any difference in how they behave since the update, they're better if anything as the asymmetry was fixed. There's a step by step and a demo video for them on the mod page, and the operation is the same when attaching to the new rear flip-outs
Nah, the update of the ramps only fixed an oversight + added compatibility for the rear flip-outs. The easier to use automated ones are still TBD, I need to experiment on them a good bit to make sure they work as intended. For anyone curious, they'd just be on slidenodes and rails and roll out from the middle to the back, and then extend sideways. This can also mean they will be trigger and/or hydro operated so they would also work in career mode.
Kinda off topic but I put a 31,000+ lbs (14,000+ kg) school bus on it. (It weighed 63,194 lbs or 28,664 kg)
I dont know if its just me, but when I use the rear flipout ramps and try to attach the aluminum ramps, they wont stay connected (keeps bobbing up and down and then disconnects)
