Hi all. This is a small "break project" I've embarked on since two weeks ago as a break from one of my larger projects that follows a somewhat similar philosophy. It is a relatively modern 35ft & 50ft, 1, 2 or 3 axle gooseneck wedge car trailer that I've modeled and textured from scratch, and jbeamed mostly from scratch only borrowing the axle jbeam and modifying it from the tilt deck trailer. It's designed to work with any gooseneck trucks and fifth wheel trucks as a kingpin coupler is featured.

The current version of the mod will NOT work in career!
This is due to node-grabbing not being available in career, which is needed for the operation of the ramps.

The trailer is of full metal construction available in two lengths (35ft and 50ft), 2 deck widths (96" and 102") and 4 axle configurations (Single tire tridem / tandem - dual tire tandem / single). The suspension made up of slipper leaf springs and no shocks, with the tandem and tridem axles having equalizer beams connecting the leaf springs, very similar to the vanilla tilt deck trailer. The trailer variations have legal payloads ranging from just below 2.5 tons to over 6.6 tons, all indicated with an unique VIN plate on the front headboard of the trailer for each included configuration. It also features scratch made modular 16x6 steel wheels available with zero offset for the single tires and with 5.35" offset for the dually rims available in 4 finishes along with custom tires.

    Ramps:
The trailer features two 9' aluminum ramps stowed on the rear of the deck that are manually operated. The following is a step-by-step of the operation of the ramps:

    1. Trailer is parked on a relatively flat surface and stopped
    2. Ramps are unlatched by clicking the trigger on the stowing pins
    3. Ramps can be held by the node grabber either in free cam or in walking mode, and pulled out and aligned underneath each of the deck. The left stowed ramp only works with the left side of the deck and vice versa.
    4. Trigger on the deck is clicked and the ramps will attach themselves to the deck. If they do not secure, nudge them around with the node grab until a clunk is heard.
    5. Ramps can be slid left or right according to the vehicle being loaded, and the vehicle can be loaded.
    6. Ramps are detached with the same trigger on the rear edge of the deck, then nudged back to the center, lifted and slid into the inner deck. The placement doesn't need to be precise as long as it's on the inside of the deck.
    7. The stowing pin triggers are clicked again, and the ramps will slide and latch themselves and are securely stowed away.
Here is a short video demonstrating the operation of the ramps:

There is very little lore, the trailer is made by Grant Company of Canada and is produced in North America for NA Standards since the mid 2000's to now with minimal changes.

That being said, here are some images:

    Known issues / notes:

The front flip out ramps can rarely not latch down
The rear ramps rarely break and don't couple, this can be remedied by manually coupling them
ABS does not work very well
Objects can't be placed within the toolbox due to collisions
The decals and stickers may deform weirdly

its a very highly detailed trailer mod that i love. Only thing that should be added to it is a slide out ramp or a fold down variant. if you could add that, it would be very appreciated

I'm going to be looking into a form of ramps that is at least a little more automated than the current way

Simple and fills a large void in BeamNGs trailer lineup, so pretty much the perfect mod.

I can confirm this issue also exists on my end, for the time being you can manually attach other trailers to the hitch but the hotkey won't work. Will be looking into this whenever possible

Love the mod, I feel that Beam is lacking in the trailer compartment. Anyways I have always struggled with attaching vehicles to trailers in the game. I get the node coupling method but I have tried multiple methods for aligning the nodes such as crossing nodes (Ie. Left side of the car strapped to the right side of the trailer and vice versa) and strapping on the same side ( I tend to use 4 nodes connections per vehicle to the trailer. But the cars never seem to be stable after being strapped. They will bounce out of control and eventually work their way off the trailer. Any tips, or good resources for securely attaching vehicles in game. Thanks in advance

A function like this is not supported, although would be possible even if a little janky. However as is, you're just intended to have the cars rest on trailer decks and there's not much I can do about that :/
