My initial goal was to improve the original American Road for trucking. This was a private project at first, but I decided to ask the original creator if I could publish it later on, as this project became much bigger than I expected. The download is available on MediaFire, as the file is too large to attach. I also made a mission pack, which is available as a seperate mod (see attachment). It works again after relaunching the game, so it's not a huge problem. AI drives normally in the races in SP Arena. I don't know how to fix that, if it is even possible. Wow this was a long time my favorite map, Thanks for the refresch, I hope you can add the pbr in the map, makes it much more realistic,
I already tried that, but couldn't figure out how to do it. I might take a look into that again. Maybe it'll work, maybe not.
I've decided that I won't do PBR for now. I want to make some other map projects first to learn PBR. Once I've done that, I might come back to this. However, there will be an update for this map soon, as I'd still like to add and fix a couple of things.
hmmm, i guess thats bc i dont got a mod you do? but well its sad i cant do the concrete delivery mission
@fihre boy You probably need the T-Series Drivetrain Expansion or Bella's Semi Addon for the mission to work. I'll update the mission pack before I keep working on the map, so that no configs need those two mods. I just checked all trucking missions. They all work without any of the requirements of the Fictional Trucking and Service Skin Pack. Only the skin pack itself is needed. I still made a few minor changes to two missions, so I'll post an updated version.
Hi guys, I finished the 300KM American Road tour, it took 3 hours and 51 minutes and was 308KM long (Measured with the inbuilt mileage counter). I used a slightly modified Cherrier FCV 150d (DCT). The first 30 Minutes were sadly corrupted but heres the rest: Screenshots for proof:

For what it's worth, the original map has also now just updated, but separately from this. It might be nice to see the two projects merge into one final complete version of American Road with all current updates and content in one, but that's not my decision to make.
It was first try, I will drive the tour again on Friday, which will help making the measurements even more accurate! I'll keep you updated Btw. Very cool refresh, the tour showed everything. There is a minor bug where the checkpoints reverse somewhere by the 510-600 checkpoint mark.
I updated the mission pack with the correct distance of the New Content Tour and also added stars for certain finish times (3:30h for gold). It's available for download at the bottom of the first post. Here's a Progress Update for version 1.1: fixed fps drops near the main city by removing the oak forest expanded and edited the main city added AI support to the refinery bridge (didn't know how to do that when I built it) --- Post updated --- I checked your video and everything seems to be working fine. You just missed a checkpoint at 2:14:47. If you meant something else, you could take a screenshot of the location on Friday, so it's easier to find.
