WIP [REWORK] 2000-2004 Pessima Refresh 0.3

Exactly my point. New outer skin, but same basic design underneath. If I'm not crazy, the western Corolla from 2002 to 2013 had the exact same chassis, but with different outer skins. Two "different Generations", but less than 30% is new, at least on its underpinnings.

 

The 7th generation Camry was given a redesign which completely updated the look of the car, but was still sold as the 7th generation, as a facelift. Your point was that it should equal new generation, no?
I do understand your point and agree with it, but I still call it a refresh/facelift as that was the original idea. It started off as a facelift, but I kept adding more and more to it, which slowly shifted it away from realistically being a facelift.
I have considered dropping the 'Refresh' part entirely and just titling it the 2000-2004 Ibishu Pessima, and ultimately I will leave it up for anyone to title it however as I can't really bother with lore

 

I looked further and found that facelift. But the 7th gen is just a re-skinned 6th gen. Why Toyota did the same thing to the 7th gen in 2014 and didn't called it 8th gen is beyond me lol

Because it isn't a third gen Pessima. It is still closely based on the second gen Pessima, to call it a new generation makes no sense. The entire point of this mod was for it to be a facelift, and I am absolutely not going to change that.

Why not use the door handles from the 1996-2000 Pessima for 2000-2002 models and the current door handles from this mod for a facelift from 2003-2012, Also, it looks more like a second gen than a refresh, so why not just call it the MK3 Pessima?


Hey, sorry for bumping in, It's me again, I'm just curious, for the refresh's rework, will an estate, liftback, or hatchback along with a 2-door hardtop coupe and convertible (available with automatic soft top or automatic folding hardtop) (named the Ibishu Pessima Lamara but mainly just the Ibishu Lamara), from the Pessima platform in your MK2 refresh style yet, (Coupe/Convertible Hint: Toyota produced a coupe and a convertible based off the Camry's platform and wheelbase named the Solara from 1998-2009 in the U.S as the Japanese car company's attempt to enter the coupe and convertible markets in the United States and Canada (i'm not sure if it should be badged as an Ibishu and be based off the Pessima platform or be badged as an Arima and be based of the CS200 platform) If you don't believe me here's some photos of it below for evidence) (unlike the Solara being only sold in the United States and Canada, the Lamara was also available in RHD for Japan, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and Jamaican domestic markets and for other LHD markets such as the other European countries, South Korea (the Lamara and the Pessima were badged along with the original nameplates and badging as the Daewon DS9 (inspired by Daewon DS6 from Urbanmaid's Ibishu Lumiance O32 mod)), South America, Taiwan, and China)












And will there be a Royale variant in black, red and yellow with a vinyl roof similar to that from KLJP? (Kueso and LJ's Japan pack) which focuses on Hirochi and Ibishu vehicles (mainly the SBR, Sunburst and MK1 and MK2 Pessima) and a Pessima Royale/Luxe USDM market rebadge, I recommend you use Kalico's Yamato brand which he used to create the Yamato Crescendo, which is a luxurious rebadge of the Ibishu Pessima MK1, so it would be the Yamato Crescendo MK2 facelift, Like an Infiniti G35, (I know an account under the name of Militant asked this before in the forums but I want you to be more serious) since Kalico's Yamato brand reminds me a lot like Infiniti which is the luxury division of Nissan which focuses mostly on rebadged JDM cars converted into LHD for North American markets

Also you can reuse the smooth trunk/license plate embedded bumper for the MK2 Crescendo since the G35 had a smooth trunk with the Infiniti logo and the text logo below it, Also available in a coupe and convertible
And as I said like in the Lamara, unlike the G35 being only sold in the United States and Canada, the Crescendo sedan, coupe and convertible were also available in RHD for the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and Jamaican domestic markets and for other LHD markets such as other European countries, South Korea, South America, Taiwan and China, Also you could extend the model years from 2000-2004 to 2000-2009, and make the Navigation system on the radio for the refresh's dashboard first display the Ibishu logo and text along with a display of safety instructions before going to GPS

Asking money for an unfinished product is the last thing I would do.

Aside from me going crazy, Can you tell me how the progress is going and what stuff is left to texture/materialize/recreate, I already have the existing Refresh mod and I would be fine with both of the mod versions, the pre-rework and the Rework, Will the estimated time of release be sometime around Christmas Eve or New Years?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's kindly saying 'no' and giving the reason for it.

 

The mod will not be releasing this month, and I am doubtful it will release next month either.
You are coming off as very entitled. Please be patient and allow me to work on this mod in my own time.
I am working my hardest to develop and will release this mod as soon as I can. These kind of comments from you are not appreciated.
