    Hello, thank you everyone for chiming in on the autosave issue, we localized the problem and fixed it for next release. Please wait for the fix and until then you should be able to use one of the workarounds the community managed to come with.

    I'm noticing some weird flickering on reflective surfaces, and it seems to happen when the vehicle's lights turn on and off. It also gets worse if dynamic reflections are turned on. I tried using Vulkan on Windows 10, but I did not see the issue there. I see "Minor graphical issues may occur" listed in the known issues list, so I assume that's what this is considered? Running Linux Mint 22.2 with a 4060, using driver version 580.95.05.

    tried changing dynamic reflecion update rate up or down?

    Yeah, I tried that. Made no difference. Also tried different graphics presets, same thing.

    especially check if anti aliasing does the problem
    ive seen it glichning on ym machine few times in difrent games

    I'm having the same issue. Just wanted to +1 this issue so the devs can be aware.

    I also noticed your glasses flicker. Sometimes, my dynamic mirrors show the car reflection fading in and out, very quickly.

    I seem to hit this bug for several BeamMP servers that uses this mod. Anything from Beamapex/Beamsharp and other race/trackday servers. Mod name "VB#-Tyrewear" from server Mod list.
    Could be this one which has not been updated since 0.31 https://www.beamng.com/resources/luuks-tyre-thermals-and-wear-mod.26947/updates .
    Since the servers are quite active this probably works for Windows and Proton.

    The frequency is guessed, by sending a large burst of FFB updates to the drivers, and measuring how long they take to be consumed. This happens each time FFB gets initialized in-game.

    With that information, we throttle down the update rate very substantially, to be on the safe side, and run with that.

    It's possible that this automatic guessing system doesn't work with those drivers, because they return instantaneously even though they didn't really fully process our FFB request.

    So yeah, manually picking a more appropriate rate is the solution here.

    So.. It was not the mod mentioned that caused the freeze, but some unidentified trash/config in current/settings/* .
    I did not have the patience to identify exactly what since BeamMP servers downloads a ton of mods where some of them uses settings/ for config as well.
    As you pointed out, always try safe mode if disabling mods or clearing cache does not work...

    Some more information with this may help (system specs, crash log), I run the traffic from time to time myself on the Linux port and have no issue?

    Did some more testing, and I found that it also affects smoke too. Another thing I noticed is that other vehicles can cause the flickering to get worse, especially vehicles with flashing lights equipped and turned on (police, ambulance, etc.), even if they aren't close by.

    Thanks for the reply! But I still want traffic to work fine regardless of how many cars I spawn, like I can spawn upto 10 cars without crashing, and then spawn another 10 cars on top of that with no problems, but I can't do 20 AI cars all at once, it leaks my RAM and it starts to freak out, while in Windows, this wasn't an issue. With that said though, I didn't really have any problems running beam on linux apart from this and it's been a smooth sail for now. Good job devs! Just pls fix this if it's possible. And if you're wondering, here's my specs:
    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics
    GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7700XT 12G
    RAM: 32GB DDR4 (2x16GB) 3533MHz CL16-19-19-19-28-46 at 1.4v
    OS: Arch Linux x86_64, Zen kernel, 6.17.8-zen1-1-zen

    Hi there, I'm unable to load into Career mode or even load traffic due to my game freezing Its able to load everything in before my entire computer freezes, I'm unable to alt-tab or do anything and am forced to restart my system. I can spawn in a couple cars for races however my game just has a seizure the moment it tries to simulate traffic. If I try loading traffic and quickly alt-tab to BTOP++ (task manager for Linux) I witness a memory overflow before my system stops responding, however I cannot figure out what exactly is causing the memory overflow. As for my specs:

    CPU: Ryzen 5 9600X
    GPU: NVIDIA RTX2060 Super
    RAM: 32GB DDR5 (2x 16GB) 6000Mhz CL36
    OS: Linux Mint x86_64

    did u clear cache after .733 to .775 update?
    as for memory overflow i only happened to experince it with parked cars set to unlimited and it did actually consume entire of 32gb ram and froze my system
    tho i think its rather classic script outrun, and beamng does contorl of system assets too well including full cpu utilisation so ur system freezes coz of 100% cpu utilisation, i experinced it while prebaking textures/shaders first run so my system wuz unusable till it ended
    in case it does so for u below is script to limit game to anything except first and last core of 0-15 cpu cores system

    I just cleared the cache and system still froze up on the loading screen, as for the script is it only if I run into texture issues or if there is a memory overflow? Cause my CPU is completely fine, its just the memory overflow that occurs and freezes my system, and setting parked cars to either auto or 5 doesn't work either
