Come to think of it there's a good chance that they might be adding stationary crushers or some kind of complex object integrated into the gridmap map itself. It's weird of them to show the gridmap so obviously out of everything if the teaser was for a vehicle or prop. And considering that the ramp that's currently there is gone in the image, this gives me reason to believe they're modifying it. But it could just be out of the shot. There's some interesting looking contraptions inside too that I don't see being a feature of any vehicle. Also... on the side there also seems to be a giant button or control panel...
I have no idea but it genuinely feels like it's some sort of tow truck wrecker because if you look at the massive ones it kind of seems like it might line up with it. Can somebody put an image of a giant five axle wrecker over the lines? See if it lines up? --- Post updated --- Considering how many buttons and everything a TOW TRUCK has. Seeing more than the rollbacks will be FUN if this is what I think it is.
I think its a crusher still but I really hope you're right --- Post updated --- Im curious how did you get 24 meters
https://www.beamng.com/threads/earl...-of-career-concept.88089/page-87#post-1890725 krallopian does want the vehicles team to make a tow truck somewhere down the line, maybe that somewhere isn't as far as we thought.
I dont think its 24 meters. Its clearly a big truck thats towing cables in a curve. Notice how the lines slightly lift off the ground in the teaser image? Thats near the back of what appears to be the wrecker if you subtract the curve shaped lines. Its clear they have got to be testing cables and physics on that end for reasons. Its something to think about. For once I might be right --- Post updated --- Its not confirmed yet but it very well just might be
Looking through the posts, im going with a wheel loader. the top long beam box looks like a hydraulic cylinder and the flat section looks like the bottom of a bucket. the rear curved "panel" looks like the ending of a belly pan. That makes the most sense, considering the big tire prop we got recently. The devs probably wanted them to get hit and experimented with before they put it on a machine. Id assume if it was a loader, there would be other construction stuff. (colors should match image to image)
thats not what slidenodes and rails are used for, you only got the cylinder part right (blue) those tire props work completly differently to an actual tire. --- Post updated --- i got that here: based of the grid and based of the perspective
This would be sick --- Post updated --- They could use the mesh from the tire prop and put it onto an actual tire, that's pretty straightforward to do. I've always thought it was sus of them to add hauler tires from the start. Weird thing to just make How did you manage to superimpose objects into the background? Pretty impressive
i wonder if they are teasing the boom section of a road crane https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url...ved=0CBYQjRxqFwoTCJjX3OGLi5EDFQAAAAAdAAAAABAE
yes, but isnt it sus of them to add a matress, or a tv, or a fridge, or a lounge set, or the porta potty wiht the crane attachement? i just took the screenshot in the same position, rotation, fov and time of day (also dof) and then just masked out the parts from the teaser onto my screenshot --- Post updated --- hope we get a teaser tommorow (cant wait)
This A lot of those props did become parts on cars, either as roof or bed loads. Maybe the same could happen to the tires, but they actually have a use case
We also have the big loader and haul truck tires that can be used in heavy machinery (excavators, small dump trucks, Unimog-type and ETK 4000/6000-type vehicles etc.)!
