Sorry if I'm slightly off topic; I have no idea where to ask. I want to organize a whole "Trail Out"-style championship (yes, in BeamNG, where cars get their wheels ripped off by the roots when they hit a hill), but I don't know which maps would be best for it. Some have terrible AI, with bots kissing pillars and walls, while others simply don't have suitable locations, and some are absurdly heavy for my PC; I can't adjust it to the game's power consumption. I'd be happy if I could find a couple of maps with interesting tracks. (And no. Vanilla isn't enough.) Thanks in advance!
So, you want a race track map or something like that? Or maybe just a nice map to have a race on? Sorry, I have never played Trail Out, so I may not understand everything.
Have you ever seen "FlatOut"? It's pretty much the same thing. I need maps that have the potential for good tracks, so the AI can navigate them (and not crash into the first pole), and so the tracks aren't too easy. Their visuals aren't too important to me, but not empty map, of course
Oh, yeah, I played first and second FlatOut, I understand... Honestly, I don't really know any actually high-quality tracks that can be suited for such racing. And I think it is better for you to create custom checkpoints for AI for them not to go in the wrong way (although yes, it is not that easy, you need to work a bit with such things). Only maps that come to my mind that may be suited for you are ones from nachtsiel, like these 3: https://www.beamng.com/resources/lucas-oil-speedway.22448/ https://www.beamng.com/resources/crandon-international.22551/ https://www.beamng.com/resources/wild-west-motorsports-offroad-track-lidar.19171/ Although I don't know if these tracks have AI pathfinding, so you will probably need to check that. --- Post updated --- Forgot to say, you may also like this one - https://www.beamng.com/resources/xero-parklands.27889/
