I would love to walk around the maps and explore the old buildings. Plus hop onto the balloon and take a ride on it.
Totally agree. Been wanting to do that since day one. Stock Torque engine has all of that but I think the devs yanked it out of Beamng. To walk around some of these maps in first person would be epic. Maybe someone could get the stig some legs. No doubt some sadistic clown would mod it and car vs pedestrian accident screens would be plastered all over the place.

There's the Stig, but he only sits in a car. ButI bet with B25 permission someone could make him walk around.
no he could not not with jbeam on current level would not actually be possible to jbeam a semi realisticly handling human skeleton. Why devs removed the t3d walking mechanics is a different question tho
had a a similar idea, if not the same. optional-person-mode i wonder if one could re-insert the "player-mechanics" from the orig. Td3? could be avoided with a simple first person "camera mode" without an actual "player model" (allot of fps games dont have one) it would need terraincollision, a persons height and some kind of "no fly" limitation. (maybe a little "camerashake/bobb" and some stepping sounds) but what do i know.
yes, but the kinematics of a walking balancing human... that's a tiny little challenge. I await your QWOP mod. edit: not meant as a burn, more of a challenge
Wait, how many million US$ did R* pay for the very advanced and sophisticated ragdoll mechanics for GTAIV again? To make a realisticly behaving human ragdoll is a very hard task, the team could make a whole new game about that, because it is just simply that hard to correctly simulate.
