@gigawert Did you replace the fire.lua file with the one that comes with the app? I'm glad you like it @destroyer8769 The put out fire should still work, does the button just do nothing?, can you please press the "put out" button and open the console using the "~" key annd take a screenshot ?
That's strange, could you please press the ignite engine button and then screenshot the console? You open the console by pressing the Tilde key "~"
Thank you. It seems it can't find the function i made, okay the fix should be to just download the mod again (firedebugv1.zip) and copy and replace fire.lua in (BeamNG installation folder\lua\vehicle) with the one in the zip.
The ingnite engine button? If that isn't there you have downloaded the old version. I'm not sure what button you're taking about.
I think this is what you meant. I figured it out; you need to increase the app size by dragging it. By default the "Extinguish fire" button is hidden, because the app window size is too small.
Take a look at the file structure I used to repackage your mod. This is how to make your mod "mods folder compatible".
Something which I didn't consider until after I repacked this was that while it's /mods/ folder compatible... as currently implemented it will also interfere with future versions of the game. Specifically it will sabotage improvements to the fire system. BallisticDK and I have discussed this by PM and hopefully there will be another revision designed to circumvent this problem. It means a fair amount more work for BallisticDK though! I guess "watch this space" and keep an eye out for when you update your game beyond v0.5.0.0. You'll definitely want to remove this mod at that point!
v0.5.1.0 is out. Anyone who installed the 'repack' version of this mod should probably remove it now. The dev team also added this according to the changelog, so this app is less useful now than it was previously: Added “Ignite Vehicle”, “Ignite Node” and “Extinguish Fire” buttons to the vehicle debug app
