I know it's unbelievable, but I was so surprised. FPS was through the roof and into the stratosphere! I didn't even think 5 vehicles on 1 core with those kind of graphics settings was possible, much less on the toaster laptop I have. It was ridiculous!

"1 core"... I think we have a misunderstanding. Whatever CPU you successfully run BeamNG.drive on, it certainly has more than one core.

Maybe we do. I was told by my son that my laptop had only one core.

EDIT: Yeah, we do. Sorry. I just called my son and he reminded me that he upgraded my laptop for my birthday last year. It now has this processor: Intel® Core™ i5-6200U Processor 2.30 GHz. He says it has 2 cores. Since he's a computer science major, I'm inclined to believe him. Still, isn't 5 vehicles on two cores at high graphics settings with that many frames a bit ridiculous?

:) You never mentioned how many frames!

(That was a nice laptop for a birthday, the i5-6200U surely doesn't come cheap. :) )

I know it was at least 60 FPS. And my son got it from his friend who was selling his gaming laptop :)

These two things are actually the key focuses of this map. So, it's nice to know that they are good.

    That's some impressive fps.

It's a nice video. However, for the time being, this map is subject to a lot of change very quickly. Many of the colors have been shifted in the version that is awaiting moderation. So, I'm just going to opt for some artsy screenshot or something for each version.

Where do you get your bridge models, were they in BEAM game or did you make them yourself (or get them from an outside resource)? I am using them in my map, and want to know who to credit (or without permission, I'll swap them for something else). I am creating a map that models the USA interstate system.

I tossed those together in sketchup. They are filler for better bridges that I hope to make in the future. You are free to use them.

Under known issues "It takes a long to place complicated roads" you may want to revise that.

I actually really like that new flat asphalt place (parking?) with containers you add to this map... maybe there can be more of this. Anyway good job!
