WIP Beta released Yellav Valley .8

Apologies, I meant most recent update to this map (your fix). I downloaded the most recent version of this map and deleted the old one, even from my backup folders, before placing into my mods folder. It doesn't show up in the level select menu at all.

 

I will check it out today or tomorrow, and will get back to you. Friend online here checked it out to test it, and there's some oddball mod conflict somewhere, with another map that causes it. I don't know which one it is, I will have to ask if he knows.
99% sure it's a mod conflict with another map.
He got it working when he removed some of the less-popular maps from the roster.
My maps won't conflict with it, however.

I removed every add-on map except for Yellav and it still didn't appear in level select. It wasn't until I removed every single mod (maps, configs, cameras, vehicles, etc) that it showed up. I will slowly add mods back to the game and report back when I find the culprit.

UPDATE: I removed every single mod I had, and slowly added them back in. Everything works now. It seems to be a problem with the db.json, as the original db.json is the only file I did not put back into the mods folder. All other mods still seem to work as far as I can tell.

Strange, but at least I can drift Yellav again!!

 

I have a problem with the current version of the map. The trees don't render unless you are very close to them. The older versions of the map never did this. Is this a problem on my end and if so how do I fix it?

 

Try clearing the cache, if that does not work, I don't know what to say (it works dandy here!). It's only happened to SOME people.
I am using the same .zip everyone else is. It may have to do with the conversion process, or the video card drivers even.
Drive at dusk or night time if you must, I am still working on this issue and do not know why it happens (it could be a bug with the game, too).

If someone has an issue with the map, including you, please private message me, load your game, and load this map, then quit once it's completely loaded, and send me your documents\beamng.drive\beamng.log file as an uploaded attachment here so I can look for the error because I don't have it here to fix!

 

What graphics setting are you on? My computer runs great on Lowest, so that's what I use. I tried Low, and the trees rendered a BIT better. Most likely to do with graphics settings.

I have never been to America and I am interested in the nature of which states it reflects, I really like attention to detail and want to patrol these spaces with the right livery, ?

 

I'm not sure if this counts as a bump, but it's best to not post in old threads like this if you don't have something to contribute such as a fix.

 

This may be a little old, but this map appears to be most similar to the geography of the USA northern rockies, such as western Montana and Wyoming, or central Colorado.
Ignore the mean guy who provided no solution to your question.
