    Shotgun,

That is an extremely modified 68. That car has coil overs while an original would have had leaf springs in the back. The front has struts unlike an original 67.

    Thanks for the references.

Oh man a lot of pressure with this car :p It wasn't the best idea to choose my favourite car(and for many others like it seems) for my first full vehicle model...I learned a lot on the path and I have the feeling that I could have made it a lot better...I think I need to refine a lot of the polyflow and study how to properly make the transition from the exterior to the interior.
Don't worry I will finish this car!

Hey man, no pressure take all the time in the world. I too am modeling my favorite and first car too, and I've gone over things so many times. Don't be afraid to do that, take your time. I'd rather have a quality mod that takes forever to make than a crappy one you can put out in a week or two. Anyways, looks amazing so far, don't give up!

There is no hard limit as such. I think gabesters models might be slightly below that but he himself or someone with more modelling knowledge than I can probably confirm if thats the case or not.

Small details you can use normal maps for in order to save polys (nuts/bolts or the reinforcing bars under the hood etc)

That would come in handy! If you can, can you shoot some pictures of the interior and maybe one behind the seats. That would help a lot. Thank you!

Sorry I don't have those pictures yet. I've been really lazy the last few days. I'll do it tomorrow. Yeah.

    Tinier than baby steps:

Smoothed the mesh and gave it some volume...The car isn't a plane anymore :)
    1.JPG
Added front and back windshield with the chrome details(not 100% done)
    2.JPG

Sorry it's going this slow...I made many experiments with the chasis and I am still not 100% happy with it...Finding proper references of the underbody, suspensions etc. is still a pain in the ass(sorry) ...

One good thing is that I've found a nice site with all the specifications of the car :)

Ok. Ok. I'll do it this time. I promise. Tell me exactly what you need and I'll go take some pics as soon as I read it.

    Thanks. Its very helpful!

Well I suppose you cant really take pictures from underneath the car i.e. suspensions, steering..that is what i need at the moment...But you can take some shots of the engine, the door panels, interior and behind the seats...i need to know if there is any room or just a 'wall'..maybe you could try to squeeze the camera between the wheel and the wheel arch...

It would help a lot :)

Do you mean behind the back seats? And you need the interior door panels. I'll get on it.
