This is an excellent mod. The Overcompensation-Mobile at its finest. My biggest request is a set of locking differentials for the 6X6 configs. I've got all this power and traction to climb hills, and i'm flying straight back down the instant one wheel leaves the ground. --- Post updated --- Just realized that they're limited/locked, not the usual open/locked, so they didn't show up on my UI apps as locking. I hit the button on my keyboard and they locked.
ALT and D will lock them, unfortunately it's all or nothing. fine by me since all i ever use is crawlers
I've never been able to use the mod because whenever I tried to load in the stock hopper, the game crashed. what should I do?
as said above about another, it might be another mod conflicting. i guess i'm lucky, have never had any problems
Don't say RAM memory. RAM stands for Random Access memory. if you say RAM memory, that's a bit redundant. Video card age has nothing to do with it, i was running on a 5770, then a GTX 560Ti with no problems. Also, he's getting a memory error, so chances are it wouldn't be the GPU.
This mod great, however no locking diffs have made the mod for nothing more than show. Any kind of locked differential would improve the mod by quite a bit.
If I remember correctly the diffs are actually locked diffs, it just doesn't use the latest system for diffs from the game. Even then, the new parts have boatloads of function
You can't lock them individually, you need to use the Alt key and D at the same time, that will lock all diffs. something with the mod blocked the diffs individual locks on the screen, but they can be locked still
before the last BeamNG update, they could be locked individually. After the last one though, you have to use the shortcut. so it's an all or nothing thing. @hog0005 said that if he can it would be fixed in the next update
have some suggestions for the 6x6 you should make locking and welded diffs. also i dont really know anything about modding but could you add support for other tire mods? i can change the front and rear but not the far rear
As i said about three posts above, Alt D together will lock the diffs. He's said he'd try to fix the lockers not showing currently, but that's something that happened the last Beam update,
Hey guys i know its been a while sense I updated my little baja addon for this pack, but hey better late then never. New stuff: new racing AWD transfer case, letting you split the toque % between the front and rear axles. new racing manual gear box with 4 gears and ultra light flywheel. 3 new tunes, try them out and see which one you like more, tune 1 being my recommended Changes: Small tweaks to some code to relieve over stressing some nodes, causing wheels to fall off large tweaks to beams and there connecting nodes allowing smoother cycling of the suspension separated the shocks from the springs and put them in there respected places on the parts menu. things still needing done: adjustable rear sway bar, actual long travel setup.....at some point.
