It's only going to be a body on top of the rolling chassis, so it probably wouldn't have been too much effort to add the other body styles anyway, now I think of it.
Yo TechMechanic to avoid issues with copyright and all that I have a cool idea for the vehicle and it will be easy to make because you can just jack it off a crappy or decent Russian mod add a front end of a Lada on It would make it really interesting and make the first Russian and French type car on Beamng Drive love the mod tho so far WORLD OF MODS VAZ-2106 here is one I found that looks good https://www.worldofmods.com/beamng/cars/11463-vaz-2106-v30.html Now we will steal their mods LOL
As funny as your idea is, the aim of this mod is really to teach me that I can make a mod, once this mod is made I have another project that i wish to execute. Also, the VAZ does not look anything near enough like the renault 4 for me to do anything with it. Still A++ for a funny idea that has made my day.
Using parts of a crappy Lada mod is a bad idea, but adding some styling cues could be done. Here is how it would look like with Lada-style fascia:
That image looks great, I may use some parts of that! However I fear that some people are expecting great things, this is only my first mod. It will not be hyper detailed and as of now I have no clue how I jbeam and model the suspention
This is the chassis that I will be using. It isn't hugely detailed but it should not be that visible. I fit does look odd I will edit it. Also, the wheels have been modelled along with a start to the sedan body: (All parts are subject to change if necessary) I know that the parts may not look anything like the renault 4's, but it is due to the act that I want it to look slightly different, such as adding different bumpers, maybe even square headlights. --Edit-- This is what I was thinking of...
So, right now I am working on the front grill and lights, can people say whether they would like the round or square headlights. Also, should a roof rack be an option for the sedan?
4 lights on front & make them be rounded squares? For the additional stuff, like a roof rack, you should decide if to do it, or not
I have taken Sithhy and Ytrewq's comments into consideration and this is the front end now, however I get the feeling that something doesn't look right with the front and I don't know why, if anyone sees a mistake please notify me of it.
Not really, the rear doors are unfinished along with the bonnet, boot, engine, other body styles and the entire Jbeam needs to be redone. But considering I have done the front doors, chassis body and grill I suppose it may be coming along well.
Please can I have some inspiration/ help with figuring out how to model the engine so far there is a bit of block and what I can only assume is an air filter.
