Hello everyone, There is an old miata mod on a russian site that is actually quite decent So i decided to make it better! EDIT : The original mod is actually from @KG Benz , so sorry for ignoring it in the first place, and big thanks to him for the original mod that is actually quite nice ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What did i do so far? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Added new engines+matching turbochargers/superchargers+nitrous! (with sounds!): (Present on the original miata, both made from the base on the original engine) -B6-ZE 1.6L I4 DOHC Engine -BP 1.8L I4 DOHC Engine --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (The VTEC kicked in yo engines, i took the first from this mod : https://www.beamng.com/threads/1994-ibishu-covet-updated-10-15.37463/ The second is a tuned variant of it) -B16B 1.6L DOHC VTEC Engine -B16B Spoon Built 1.6L DOHC VTEC Engine ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (The Rotary aka dorito machine thingy. This engine do not come with a fitting sound, but still kick asses) -13B 1.3L 2 Rotor Wankel Engine ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (And we always need that (Almost) 'murican touch with the SHO engine from the infamous Ford Taurus SHO (Super High Output)! (a little overpowered compared to the original tho)) -SHO 3.0L V6 DOHC Engine ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (I know it's a mazda and it's wrong to do this. But who never dreamed of a 2200 whp miata?) -LS1 5.7L V8 OHC Engine ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ('Murica and Freedom packed in one big block. I mean, you can hear the American national anthem coming out of the exhaust and when fully boosted, 5000 freedom horses tearing the tires off.) --440 CUI (7,2L) HEMI V8 engine) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Configs ! (Yeah... L A Z Y i am. But it's nicer with an image and a description) -Base -1.6 -1.6 LSD -1.8 -1.8 LSD ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What i would like to add :. -Special parts that are actually modeled -A functioning dash -A better JBeam -A better and modeled suspension -A folding soft top (not sure about this being made) I would like to do this things, but i suck at modeling, so i don't think i would be able to do it myself I you can help me, i would be glad to give you the early access What i'm currently adding (or someone else helping for the creation of the mod) -A convertible body -A w i d e b o d y kit ! -Spoilers and wings ! -New configs What is finished and currently working : -Superchargers -Twincharging! -Engine Tuning Kits (Stage 1 and 2) -Nitrous -Universal wheels -A torquey V6 engine -A roaring LS engine -A mighty 440 HEMI engine -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Known bugs : -The drift steering is a little wobbly and breaks quite easily -The rear suspension has a tendancy to bounce, no matter the ride height and damper settings. -The pop up headlights pop up the other way when damaged -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some a e s t h e t h i c pics: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, after a long pause in development, i decided to relase this mod since i don't have too much time to work on it. This means the development will be slow unless somebody helps me. Have fun, there is a lot of lacking features but it's better than a russian mod ^^
you should try to make a v8 or i6/v6 swap for us crazys and drifters but so far looks good cant wait for this to be released

I have several years of experience with 3d modelling in Blender. I'm not the best, but maybe i could help.
I will gladly accept your help ! But keep in mind that this project is highly WIP and i am only getting started ^^ I don't know, the current car is driveable, but half of the things don't work or are buggy... I will certainely release it when the suspension , the wheel hubs and the dash will be completed
This would be perfect! The original wheels are quite bad... But the problem is that you can have universal wheels with the 4 lug wheel hubs, but it looks like this: --- Post updated --- It would be very nice! Currently, the only bodywork available is the base one. But i can create some engines with similar torque curves and even the superchargers ^^
This mod was originally in a group before someone uploaded the mod to third-party websites. The changes are promising enough, but you need to give credits to @KG Benz, since he is the creator of that mod.
Unfortuantley its not a Russian mod, it was originally made by a fourm member, @KG Benz , might want to contact him and give him credits. edit, somebody said this before me i know

Is it possible to get specs and the turbocharger/supercharger for this engine [swap]? (Of course it's a Corvette engine, it says the model name on the engine.)
I'm finishing the SHO engine and i'm giving you the car ^^ An LS swap could be quite interesting, but i will work on the engines models later --- Post updated --- But i definetly plan to add a Chevy LS in here ^^
