RIP Mr. Chicken Would you know anyway on how to implement sounds into the mod? Such as the chicken makes random sounds?
Negative - I do not know how to implement sounds in mods. I am sure there's a way to script them in at a random time it will make chickeny sounds. When you damage Mr. Chicken, it can make more frantic sounds, like for a big crash where chicken turns into pancake, it can make the sound from when the snake snacked on it.
I will later ask to see if one of the devs would know how to script (lua) sounds into the mod. As of now, I won't bother them and add a supercharged chicken. (There's a supercharger on the body of the chicken lol!)
Not sure if it is possible, but what about adding the sound as a custom horn? "Hurting" sounds could be done same way as suspension sounds (when beam is under stress, it makes noise).
How would the horn be implemented since it's only a prop? Would it be the game of copy and paste the horn lua from the official beamng folder to the mod? But i never saw it that way, i though you would have too script the entire thing over again,
I´ve just added truck horn for bale just to make sure it works for props as well There is no difference between cars, trailers or props. All are made of jbeam, which uses slot system. Insert this into slots section of jbeam: Code: ["soundscape_horn", "soundscape_horn_5", "Horn"] And you should have working horn as well. You can change it in parts configuration. The second part will be making custom horn, but I have no idea how to do it. I´m sure it is possible because there is a mod which adds new horn sounds
Thank you for the information, now we know that a horn is possible for a prop, not all I gotta do is change the sound. I’ll take a look at the horn changing mod to see what he/she did to change the sounds. Thanks for the info, I’ll see what I can do on my part
Ok, since i'm not very smart at modding, would I put the soundscape_horn inside of the chicken.jbeam or would I make it a separate JBEAM?
In the chicken.jbeam there is an empty slots section. The line I posted previously should be inside of that section.
Alright, so if I were to make a custom sound (already have one ready for use), were exactly would it be placed? --- Post updated --- Scratch the sound idea, as it seems to break the entire mod itself (just one letter change to the jbeam, such as deleted a letter j then replacing it with another j breaks the mod, that's why i don't add updates to it often jbeam-wise.)
You can take a look at this mod for reference: --- Post updated --- Can you send me the sound file? I will try it.

I’ll just send over the file once I get on my computer. (Via PM)
I forgot that it is outdated after 0.12 because slottype of horns got changed. But that´s nothing serious.
A wolf? Another idea to extend my project list. And your welcome --- Post updated --- NASA Chicken added+sounds
