I freaking love the 6.4 Diesel, Vid coming up today on my channel (TechMaster2133) Finally a PROPER diesel with a proper trans and sound, Im so giddy xD
Do you think you could add these to the hopper? I wouldn't mind if the models didn't change, but having the specs and sounds. A few more cars I think would be cool to have these motors is the moonhawk, Barstow, and the bolide. just an idea, anyways, very nice mod. --- Post updated --- Also, do you think we could get the 6.4 turbo diesel for the grand marshal, it seems weird but I kinda want it.
I was thinking, maybe we could get these motors for legran, and also the T-series, the 6.4 would be amazing for the t series lol. sorry for asking for so much.
The 6.4s a little small for the T series, Just hauling with the D series i can tell the 6.4 wont do those 30+ thousand pound trailers xD
Yeah, now that I tried hauling just one car on a gooseneck trailer with the d series I realized its not all that powerful, its great for a pickup, but not for a semi. Im just not a big fan of the new diesel sound for the t series. it doesn't sound like a semi.

it'd go well with the Wentward bus, it does have a gavril engine.. Maybe the 320hp variant would suit it
As I said, this mod is absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for the effort and the knowledge demonstrated! --- Post updated --- I did a quick video of each engine if someone is interested on hearing the sounds. They are spot on! Not only the sample, but also the pitch. Sorry for the quality. I didn't edit. I used shadowplay, so I had to limit the frames to 60fps. But it's in 1440p at least, so enjoy! 4.2 V6 7.8 Big Block V8 4.7 High Output V8 6.4 Diesel V8 I'll add the others later.
for me the 7.8L v8 has an exhaust on the bottom of the engine (i flipped the car to make the exhaust more visable)

I am aware of this, and I have an explanation as to why they’re like this. If I were to add power to get the power figured where they “should” be in the torque curve app, the engines become unrealistically powerful. So instead, I copy the torque curve from Automation (what I used to make the engines) and don’t adjust it. So it is accurate, just the app shows HP after losses through inertia and other stuff. Yes all the engines have exhaust leaks and I can’t do anything about it as of now. It’s been like that since the last big update to the game and I’ll have to contact a dev to figure it out. For now just ignore it haha! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE KIND WORDS MAN!! It’s my pleasure! And thank you for the videos! Also just a heads up... the engines are so much better if you use my trans/torque converter setups! I don’t know if you did or not, it’s hard to tell but just in case...
Love the sounds! most real life sounding mod yet i think. May i suggest the 4.7, 5.2 and 5.9 V8's from the dodge RAM and Dakota trucks from 94 to 2004ish? then i can copy my real life truck in beamNG!
Thanks! I think that you’ll find that the 5.2/4.7 his actually just the 4.7/4.7 HO V8 I’ve made, because those are specifically made to be like those engines. The 5.9L V8 is closest to the 5.6L, but unfortunately I can’t just add another engine. The 5.9 was indeed the Cummins Turbodiesel but there was a 5.9L Magnum V8 as well.
can confirm the 5.9 was a big block V8, how i know?...i drive one also forgot to add, maybe my mopar and dodge fan side is showing but, if you ever plan an update let me add to the suggestion list the 8L V10, also from the dodge trucks. it was literally the 5.9 V8 with 2 more cylinders added. or was the 5.9 the 8L with 2 cylinders cut off? we may never know
The 8.0 V10 was a 5.9 with 2 cylinders and if you want that kind of power, the 7.8 is for you! Essentially the same figures, just not the sound haha
