dpmp is very outdated at this point and i would recommend not running it anymore in the interest of other up-to-date mods
just my opinion tho

 

what would you think about adding a huge wing like the hillclimb cars have for some massive downforce?

 

btw if you are having any trouble with controlling the car try making the tire pressure something like 10 psi it really helps

 

Very sorry to add on a bit less than half a year later, but, I've found that one mod that breaks the car (by making the car spawn without the engine, and the car being awfully slow once the engine is put into the car VIA the parts selector) happens to be WBIMP, a config mod. I've removed it and had no issues since.

It does seem to be WBIMP, and it has to do specifically with the covet AWD system i have sourced from DJploppers MegaPack. (with permission). If im not mistaken, it should be broke with DPMP aswell.
as this mod is rather old, and WBIMP is being updated very soon, i will most likely not address this error.
just disable my mod (like you did) for the time being.

Not anytime soon. I would have to redo parts/all of it to make it better and I don't have time nor motivation for that

 

Is it just me or is it unable to steer? Every version I've tried, the front wheels do not turn, ever. No idea why.

Found only 2 bugs so far:


Exhaust seems to have a leak with or without the turbo

The other thing is that even though I select the turbo'd configs, they still spawn without one

Actually, found a third bug. For some reason on Pikes Peak (only just tested) the tires seem to burst whenever you go on the edge of the road

 

Honestly the car hasn't ever been "up to standars". Ever since first release Blijo claimed that the car was kind of an alpha state, and this has been just a maintenance fix to get the car running. I dont think people should expect the car to do very well, hell, its also VERY unstable at high speeds, even with max cheating downforce, race tires, no turbo and almost 100% FWD, the car veers to the right a lot and doesn't want to point forwards.
