Since the release of the teaser for the second episode of season 2 on the 5th of September, I've been waiting anxiously for the official release on the 15th. Now that it is here after nearly 6 months, the episode is longer, and with it allows for more quality content. Yes, I should've posted this as soon as it was released, but at least it's better late than never. Here is a list of my favorite moments and features in this episode: The beginning of the video showcased a Dodge Durango SRT and Charger SRT Hellcat, a Chevrolet Tahoe, and a BMW while showing the details featured on the vehicles like an action movie before the vehicles were subjected to being flattened by Sweeper and his semi and trailer, foreshadowing what will happen later in the video. The transition from the Hellgang inside the warehouse to Central Belasco City the following day by using the blue sky is nicely integrated; it reminded me of a particular YouTube video. The inclusion of traffic vehicles makes Belasco City a very busy place like how one expect to see a major city in reality. Black Widow's encounter with the convoy gave Savage, Rebel, and Sweeper the opportunity to strike. The police department viewed the live footages of various CCTV (Closed Circuit TV) security cameras throughout the city in order to track the suspects. This gives the perspectives of different locations. Black Widow attacked Sheriff Cobra's vehicle in return after the officer attempted a pit-maneuver on her vehicle. Sheriff Cobra's police vehicle ended up in the gap between two heavy trucks (likely a requested crash style); at the end of the credits, he was seen getting his vehicle out of the gap before trying to find Black Widow. Sweeper caught air after launching his vehicle from the ramp of a flatbed trailer to avoid crashing into a bus at an intersection. His semi and trailer then crushed the vehicles listed in the first bullet point of this post. Savage was surrounded by the police; the subsequent chase eventually led to the top of a parking garage. There, the Roamer faced off Officer Carlos in his Chevrolet Tahoe. Savage was able to take down the officer and escape from the police upon landing on top of an RV, using the red Civetta Bolide Corse as some sort of ramp. Officer Robert took down a nearly identical - but wrong - Viper. Hellhound passed by the officer moments later and said, "Wrong Viper buddy." Savage forced Officer Nick to crash into a water tower. It fell and crushed Officer Henry's 200BX, who was chasing the suspect. His dialogue ("Freeze! Stop! Wait!") before the tower fell fits in appropriately. Hellhound was being chased by multiple Dodge police vehicles. Falcon trailed the pursuit and informed a character (who goes by the name Sithis - basically a reference to Elder Scrolls) to "release the beast". The soundtracks used throughout the video fit the actions depicted in the episode. As always, the sound effects are nicely integrated, while references to other media can be seen in this episode. The credits for the BeamNG Community Members Cast listed me as the first user to appear in this episode as a minor role; my Nissan also appeared twice in the video. Thanks for featuring me as part of the everyday traffic Now that the bloopers/making of video for this episode was released, I may as well provide some of my favorite fails and attempts in this post: At 0:34, the driver of the Mercedes-Benz drove towards the fixed camera (while saying "Die cameraman!") and crashed as if there was an actual cameraman recording the entire thing. The screen then goes into the no signal static screen, accompanied with the appropriate sound. I guess you decided to include what happened to the blue Charger that passed by as ordinary traffic and wrecked it at 0:47 You also included an expectations vs reality comparison for the scene when Sweeper cuts off a Ford Sierra RS500 at 1:17, among others throughout the video. At 1:46, Officer Edmond informed Black Widow that her parking brake was engaged. She thanked the officer and disengaged it, but then crashed almost immediately afterwards, with the officer sighing in response. Many simple scenes required multiple attempts before you achieved the results you wanted. Some of them have sound effects to show that there's something wrong. While you used the Autopilot Warning for the Tesla in the final video, you ended up adding the sound looping continuously at 6:10 when the van dragged the Tesla before hitting a pole. At 8:09, the AI must've forced Savage to crash into the wrecks of the parked vehicles, though you added some dialogue that depicts him as a reckless and dangerous person. When filming the transition from the Hellgang to the day of the convoy, it's nice to know that you used 8 separate clips when putting it together. At 11:34, after flipping over her Coronet near a bus stop, Black Widow said she should take the bus instead. You included Donald Trump saying "Wrong" at 14:00 when responding to the question about making the scene for Officer Cobra's crash seem easy. There is a reason why; after all, you included plenty of failed attempts, even adding the timecards from SpongeBob SquarePants to show what I think is the total time it took to film that one scene. At 18:20, Rebel landed on top of a Grand Marshal Coupe; the latter continued to roll down while Rebel appears to have fun. Just before that, his pickup tipped over upon colliding with the coupe and slid down the road on its side at 18:13. You decided to include a montage of Detective Ivanore failing to block off an entryway at the parking garage 10 times in 6 seconds at 20:22. You showed all of the Easter eggs and references to all media for this episode, including the number of times certain vehicles appeared throughout the video; I listed some of the references in this post. Additionally, you listed some techniques used while filming. Whew! That is a lot to cover for both videos! I haven't even talked about my application for the next episode until now (because you hinted that the upcoming episode continues where the current one left off, I could be featured again as a civilian): Name: nissanfan515 as Benjamin Role: Civilian Car: Nissan Silvia K's in Vibrant Red (with license plate registration SIL-1498) Crashes: No, though some minor damage is okay if something unexpectedly happened while filming I filled out a secondary application, in case the Silvia doesn't work for some reason: Name: nissanfan515 as Benjamin Role: Civilian Car: Nissan Fairlady Z Twin Turbo in Fire Red (with license plate registration NZX-3294) Crashes: No, though some minor damage is okay if something unexpectedly happened while filming (The updated S14 and the Fairlady Z should be in the PM between the two of us; I'll send them to you as soon as possible.) In conclusion, this episode is action-packed and well worth the wait! Great job on making this episode, and good luck on the production of episode three of season two
