    Hi there,

I was building my map one day when the power to my map has suddenly been cut off. Now, I can't access my map at all. the loading screen never goes past the initial "Loading..." stage.

The game is complaining of a parse error as a result, but when I check the respective file, I don't see anything wrong. Do you think you can help me? Anything would be appreciated!

If you want more information, there is the zip file by itself, and then the a folder in my levels where the modifications are kept.

You started line 44 in that with the name SINGLETON MATERIAL (10_storey_tower...) I've shortened it
remove that 10_ in the name, and keep everything else.
    It should be fine then.
It does not like names starting with numbers, I believe, for that value.
The map to line is fine. That's all you need to change just remove the 10_ from line 44 so it starts with storey, or make it say ten_storey in-stead of 10_storey
If you have any decal or mesh roads wanting this texture, you'll have to update the objects inside the editor.
Mesh objects that you've made or other's have made (collada objects, DAE's) will be fine as they call the MAP TO name only.

Ok, that fixed the problem, but I still have another problem on my hands...
Something to do with a JSON object with no name, and a "missiongroup not found" error. A bit harder than the last one, because I have no idea where these files are...

Send your map to me via private message with an attachment, I will have a look at it tonight. I am usually pretty good at fixing stuff like this.
It's likely talking about /main/missionsgroup/ folders in the map folder. There might be something wrong there. If a file is missing, you might need to replace some roads or objects!
This is why I mention to keep backups frequently, at-least weekly or after you make a lot of progress. It doesn't take too long to zip up a copy of it.
BeamNG projects can take a year or more if they're very elaborate, a lot of hardware failures can occur in that time. So always back up.
It's talking about the folder below. My map's folder is TSH in this example (I always use short code-word acronyms for ease-of-typing, lack of easy conflicts etc).

Anyway, I got bored with Longford. It just wasn't of the quality that I wanted it to be, I never see it in any BeamNG YouTuber channels. So I am starting another map. Sorry about that. I have a problem with the car floating above the top of the ground. I never had that problem before. If you want me to upload the map for that, then you are more than welcome to!

Well it's not going to be the quality you want until it's done. Sure, there's some quality shortcomings on some of my maps, but if I spend enough time on them, there won't be (Roane County TN was on hiatus for a bit due to performance issues, not quality), that had a high square-size (stretch) on the terrain but I still managed to make it look decent (not the best, but decent enough!).
If you spend enough time on something, and put the effort in, it will look nice. Terrains/maps just don't magically look nice because of houses etc in the right place, they look nice when you sink enough time into them. If you would have seen Roane County before it had the dark grass, and before the buildings were in, it didn't look anything remotely close to what it does now. Lime green grass... eeeewwww (I have a penchant against the dev's lime-green grass color).

If your vehicle is floating, and it's the same collision as the terrain, make sure you've restarted the map, and if it's not 100% correct still, make sure you've not moved the terrain down 2~3 meters or something like that. See if when you move the terrain up or down if the vehicle falls or moves up a bit with it (or falls through).
Try moving the spawn around a bit, not 100% sure on the cause of this one. You should really consider finishing your old map though.

Yes, I did move the terrain up and down. However, it still has the same result. The forest, still clips fine. If you want a copy of the map to see for youself, then please be my guest. I've made new maps plenty of times, and this is the first time I have ever seen this sort of error before.

And speaking of my old Longford map, once you release the building set to the public, I'd rather do a remake because the roads aren't really realistic, and the map had roads that were of mediocre quality at best. Your roads, on the other hand, are dev quality.
