The resulting battlefield is rather a symbol of the destruction of war. Men dropped dead, and their mothers cried their hearts out. Some soldiers came home to find nothing left of their previous lives. Most soldiers went home and ended up living the rest of their lives doused in memories of pain. We always end up regretting fighting after ceasefires. But always, we seem to forget what we established before. War after war, Massacre after massacre, race after race, Time after Time, we are, in the end, left with crying mothers and dead children. Let this be a reminder to you, your children, and their children, that war is indeed an absolute fucking disgrace.
