Guys, I don't want the invisible walls but I have no choice. The game was built up that way and it's something I cannot change.
The invisible walls are to keep the speedy arcade cars from falling into the ocean that does nothing - in Burnout / Need-for-Speed games, that is. Remember, this was a Burnout game - not a real racing simulation. So yes, invisible walls everywhere. I believe seeing these invisible walls after all these years, they're more restrictive than the invisible walls in the 1st NFS by ROAD AND TRACK on my AM80486 dx/2 66mhz CPU PC. I don't think you could actually turn around in that game though, not until the 2nd one at-least or maybe the 3rd when EA was doing it. So yes, worry not about invisible walls bud. They won't block the pleasure of driving on the roads, seeing as all the fences are there, you'd only end up trapped on the terrain anyways. At-least he's not bringing back DJ Atomica - there is that saving grace. Now if you want music you can haul pianos around like I do.
I'd say the middle of this year but you know, it seems like I've never been right. The demo is outdated. I haven't fixed it yet, I don't plan to because I'm getting closer to release
Is this an update? Yes, after being silent for too long I finally have something somewhat interesting to actually share. I have completed the map. No, it's not ready for release just yet, but the entirety of the BeamNG Paradise map has been ported over *applause* *obviously not my map, owned by EA/Criterion/Stellar Entertainment* Full LODs are still WIP, but the collision is working (invisible walls ) but driving and stunting is more fun then ever! After the map is done, I'll probably work on gameplay stuff like events, jumps, and other cool things. Edit : Also, the map games about 8-9 GB of RAM for first load, then dips down (for me) to about 4GB. Screenshots soon please give me ideas
lol, I did say when I loaded up the map I topped over 8GB. But hey, I'd love for some people who are willing to crash their PCs!
I'd be willing to beta-test as well, if you're looking... I have a GTX 1080 and an Intel Core i7-8700... But if you're not looking for anyone I'll just slowly back up and watch as the map continues to be developed...
Hey guys, is my setup good enough for this map? AMD Radeon RX 560 Strix 4GB AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor 3.40GHz 8GB RAM 64-Bit Windows 10 Pro 2TB SSD
