Hello, I have a noob question but I could not find any tutorial to adress this issue: So I want to copy different ground textures (grass, rock, dirt, etc) from an already existing map like Jungle Rock Island. Now when I copy the files into the art/terrain folder of my map, I can use them in the editor. However, textures from some maps use a Diffuse texture which basically is the ground texture of the whole map, so whatever texture I choose, it always draws the whole map texture of the map from which I copied the textures from. Is there anyway to replace or delete this diffuse texture so I can just randomly draw with the different ground textures from random maps? This screenshots illustrates the problem: As you can see, the floor is covered with the whole Jungle Rock Island texture. I just want to use the materials, not the whole texture...
Double clicking on the diffuse image will open you a list where you can chose another diffuse texture within your art file. Moving the mouse over the names on the list will show you a preview of the textures. You can also google 'seamless grass diffuse' and replace the existing image in your art file. Feel free to use the textures files from my map where I have saved various textures with Jungle Rock groundcover/grass assigned to them.
