Update Speculation thread

Finally somebody who thinks that the Bolide could be remastered too ! (@Turbo49> pls don't kill us)

 

and you forgor the

-fridge prop
-possible lights on UTAH and the port map
-possible PBR uopdate to maps

 

It is a slim possibility. Also, lets stop pinging Turbo49>, it is 5:13 PM in France right now, and he probably wants to enjoy his evening.

 

I'm not so sure about the remastered Pessima(s) appearing in this update because the Devs' words on the subject suggest otherwise ("The Pessima remaster is starting to take shape"). Not only that, but the post is also only 3 weeks old!
I think the H-Series remastering and the brand new Muscle Sedan (at least I hope it is a Muscle Sedan) are far more possible for entering the lore in this update because they look ready to do so!

That's possible - but the last few update cycles have seen everything teased come out that update - the noteable exception being Legran wagon was not intended as a teaser at that time. For the most part, Teaser Tuesday content is going into the next update.

 

Lol don't worry, i was starting to think myself that it's not releasing imminently doesn't mean it's not coming in this update, since it's taking a lot of time. But since there is the h-series remaster i still think it won't come in this update.

Also there is the thing that @atv_123 talked about... it's gonna be VERY big.

 

I don’t think Civetta is making it to this update. It already is looking like a fat update.

My guess is that they will leave Civetta for the next year with a new sport/super car. Most likely 00s.

 

It's such a shame. The Bolide is easily my go-to car in game.

Good things come to those who wait.

 

If there are any additional remasters I'd see the GM as most likely, as much like the H-Series it was partially remastered in an earlier update but never fully remastered.

 

Unpopular opinion:

the bolide could certainly use a remaster, but it's actually pretty fun to drive and use in its current state. I use it as my go-to race car and I personally don't have that many complaints about it.

 

Yeah Bolide is fine to drive... but overall quality is still way beyond the current quality of other cars.

 

Same here. I only recently upgraded the rest of my PC from win7 when the CPU was at normal prices. Just waiting for a GPU. Haven't bought a new AAA game in 3 or 4 years.

Where did they say that? I only joined the forum to keep up on what they're doing, but they've been silent as of late, favoring twitter, and now they're also pretty much silent on twitter.

I just looked at the past history of teaser tuesdays from the twitter feed, and they've only done it 3 or 4 times in the past 4 months.

I'm sure that's a lot of the work, but the remastered maps are a lot more than just texture work. But I did kind of forget about that, they might be doing full PBR for everything that's already been remastered.

 

What is that... "thing" ?..

 

They said it here on the Speculation Thread some time ago, I believe something around 3 months ago or so, as we were hyped for the regular update cicle, can't exactly find it right now, but it was one of the devs who stated so.
