ItsYourBoi updated B-Series Off-Road Semi with a new update entry: Bug fixe Read the rest of this update entry...
Hello, the crawler modification does not work for me, it almost does not budge. Other versions work fine, the problem is only with it.
Hello again, on your advice, I locked all the differentials, after which the truck drove off. I don't quite understand the diagram a little: why is the truck trying to move, but it doesn't have enough power with all the differentials open? If he had no contact, then the engine would simply twist the speed, and in this case he is trying to go.
This makes zero sense, ulocking the diffs shouldn't remove any power but it should instead just change the power transfer, and if you are on flat ground then nothing should even happen at all... Something must be very wrong with the powertrain on that config --- Post updated --- The Crawler config has MASSIVE power leaking issues as it turns out. 50% of its power is wasted before it reaches the differentials, and additionally on the rear diff 50% of the remaining power is wasted before it goes to the wheels. That is with all of the differentials locked. Having either of the transfercases unlocked completely cuts out the power to that axle, that is not how a transfer case works, it's more like a disconnectable shaft. Realistically I have no idea why it even needs 3 transfercases in total if it only has 4 wheels, 1 transfercase should be enough. No matter if you have the rear diff locked or not, the wheels always receive only half of the power they are supposed to. I think you need to redo the crawler powertrain from scratch, it's all wrong... Actually all of the variants with single rear wheels instead of dual have power leak issues, single wheels only receive half of the power... And more variants have the issue with having way more transfercases than they need, and when left unlocked they completely cut out the power to half of the powertrain, making the truck effectively RWD only. Everything that has only 1 front axle has this problem. Needs big cleanup of the powertrain. Additionally also all variants suffer from mismatched gear ratios for some reason which cuts off the power even further. This is a mess. And crawler engine has no texture, tested with cleared cache.
Hi I took it for a spin and tried a few things out, looks great! Everything works and I can run cabless. There is a minor glitch where if you remove the cab or navigation before anything else it will freeze and loose textures but I was able to get around that by removing everything first then the cab last. Thanks again!
I also suspected that something was wrong with this circuit, since in the standard state the motor for some reason tries to move away, but cannot, unless the differentials are turned on. But for some reason I have an engine texture.
I seen the update and The gauge lights don't work could you also please add nitrous? --- Post updated --- whats this?
The rusty one reminds me of the movie "Duel" and this sinister truck that pursued the hero throughout the film.
The trailer supply valve is usually a push/pull type valve near the driver that supplies air to the trailer’s brake system through the supply line (See Diagram 5-3). This valve normally has a red, eight-sided knob that the driver pushes in to open and supply air to the trailer and pulls out to close or when no trailer is attached. Yeahh for the millions transfercase and locking diff the reason is to make it easier to change configs without having to change the kind of transfercase and whatever. For the power loss I really did know about that. On my side it looks to be okay but I'll do some investigation. Also the crawler version is just bad in general, it's too light in the back and it just makes it not good at anything... I'll see if I can make an actually good crawler with better weight distribution and maybe add some new tires. For the gear ratio it's also okay on my side... I'll still make sure tho. For the texture It's 100% fine on my side, I remade all of them so for that idk.
hey, thanks for the nice update! fixed some of the texture issues that arose with the custom military truck parts that im working on as an addon that i encountered after the last update. hopefully i can fix the jbeams on the military bed and get it out to you guys soon! heres a little spoiler
Damn boiii really like that army upfit kind of,,, Btw this mod is actually a Best mod I have in repo but noticed some bugs the frame becomes white (as hck) and the doors have square holes and have glass. Thats all
At the time of the photo, I only have two of your mods for tires and a truck, the cache is cleared and there is no texture on the engine (on the block itself), or it is somehow damaged. And I noticed that I have the same problem with the rest of the engine blocks (inscription on the block)
If it's all to make it easier, then consider adding welded transfercases that you don't have to lock for the mod to work properly, instead of locking ones where having it unlocked serves no purpose.
