 can you please dm me all of those I just had a big rush of nostalgia! --- Post updated --- link?
Same here I started playing in 2020 so I didn't get to enjoy those mods but I remember watching videos of all those mods. --- Post updated --- I'd also like the links too
Might as well show a project of mine that I somewhat finished last month. It is a BMW X6M slapped on top of a slightly edited Grand Marshal jbeam. It is pretty fun to make dumb meshslaps like this when I am bored.
The Dinka Blista and DeClasse Asea are old forum mods if i remember correctly. https://www.beamng.com/threads/declasse-asea-gta-v.9360/ https://www.beamng.com/threads/updated-dinka-blista.63753/ They could also be different mods but... yeah.
This is an ETK 800 (i think, could be wrong) jbeam With a Scenic body Things - Front license plate is floating - There are lights on the rear (huge upgrade from the Skoda), but they are not aligned with the tail lights -Just. Look -Hazards in the front and on the side aren't aligned. -Radiator and engine are also -144p -The gap between the bumper and the front fenders is too big (left BeamNG, right real) -Wh-Wha (laughs) -No working gauges (as usual) -Crash physics are trash -BeamNavigator collides with dashboard -On the car, it claims to have an 1.9 dCi engine. It has a 2.0 i4 engine. There are more bad things, but i'm tired, it feels like a million degrees Celsius in here, so i'll stop.
They used an unedited vivace jbeam, and I hate mesh slaps like those where only the model is edited so the crashes look like crap.
kenemation 5£ mod ( model modifications to mod were made by me after i got it) bonus pick of kenemation "tinted" glass
Like in many other scenarios, I try to stay away from dramas and getting into trouble, I've been here for quite a while and I'm happy this way, but for once, I wanted to check a few things myself, due to the current state of things regarding the modding status, for the last months quite a turmoil has been growing regarding the avalanche of paid mods recently, and of course the big question, if most are worth what they seem to be. The paid mods Pandora's box was opened wide and big as we know, which is not necessarily a bad thing of course, but the sad part is there is quite a few people out there who saw the chance to jump in, people who didn't put full efforts on their ports (since most of them are ports from games or already created 3D models) and pretend people to spend small fortunes for half-done work, and some are succeeding at that. One of the recent cases, to use a random example, was a certain Japanese sedan I noticed for 7,5€. Funny how in the disclaimer the modder makes sure to say it's illegal to obtain or distribute an unpaid copy of the mod when he stole it from the manufacturer's configurator without asking for permission. And yes, I ripped the Defender and the 4Runner from Forza, but the main difference is trying to earn money out of that, the line is clearly crossed at that point, earning profit, and quite a lot. I learned a lot in the way, thanks to the time and effort involved and of course the teaching from many people who knew things I didn't, which allowed me to keep improving and give as much quality as possible to my mods, and even now I think I'm still lacking a lot of expertise, so...what to expect for that amount of money? At least it should be top notch, right? I was able to test that very mod in a secure environment (then it was promptly deleted, just wanted a quick test) to finally check by myself what's going on. I found the following in a 5-minute tour: The blend and blend1 files still in it, making the mod weight more for nothing. Most textures outside the textures folder, with a mix of naming, quality and sourcing all over the place (and also an extra folder with the textures sourced from the ETK 800) The default config (the one that appears after you double-click the car without selecting a specific config) has a double set of plates, one correctly placed with no texture, and the second the other way round, as well as having stock ETK wheels. Ambient Occlusion issues that cause dark and black spots in many areas of the car, especially in the front doors No 3rd brake light mesh and texture, just the housing is there. The texture used in the shelf is scaled way too big, and is configured in a way it looks wet, way too shiny No seatbelts, only the latches remain floating in thin air The door speaker textures are also scaled way too big, and let the inside of the door be seen clearly The interior clock is missing the hands and most details No blocking mesh behind the vents, which are used to give the illusion of them going deep into the car, so what's directly behind the vents can be seen (the engine in this case) The shifter has mesh issues, with the top part separated from the rest, and the base clipping through the console The logos in the floormats have no alpha set, so they sit on black rectangles. Plus, the clips are textured as cloth instead of being metal or plastic The decals in the gague cluster are not well placed, and the background used a leather texture instead of plastic The mirrors have texturing issues which cause the reflection to be bugged The rear wheel arch tubs are not following the body shape correctly, so a big gap can be seen between both. There is quite a big gap between the trunk and outside elements (bumper, taillights...) There is a weird big mesh in the upper dash, just where the right wiper sits No firewall, so you can see the interior from the engine No lights in the bumper work The jbeam in the back roof area and trunk are too low, and the doors and B-pilar are way out of place among other things (not even sure where the base jbeam comes from) The right headlight indicator floats above the hood after a crash No driveshaft or exhausts are present, just the end mufflers. The transmission is not placed correctly, there is a big gap between it and the engine. Worst thing is, it's not an awful mod, not even bad (as compared with other objectively proper bad mods) but...many things still left to do, especially details that make all the difference, with a bit more effort, it could be great. But he's selling anyway. And not cheaply at all. So yeah, quite a sad situation right now. Of course, everyone's free to do what they want, but up to this day I think just a veeery specific handful of mods deserve to be behind a paywall, most don't at the price they are trying to sell, and some don't even deserve to be sold at any price at all, so please be aware of what are you buying...sales are final after all.
i remember getting 2 pagani zonda mods on modsgaming, one was an invisible obama box prop, and one was the r variant which was on the 200bx jbeam with a 6.9 or 5.5 liter v8 which probably came from the barstow Spoiler: Images lmao there are none hahhahahahajhahhahajbasjhdgahjfgnbhfggvabvnvnvavcsghvafv:?<#<>!$<?>!K$U@LOD(U!JIKMÖ║[*║L☺ä
