Update Speculation thread

lmao only speculation thread people to somehow get annoyed at more content, if someone gave them 1 million dollas they'd complain about it

 

honestly the art is pretty cool, but I have to agree with Lucas a little bit

the fact we get teasers regardless is already a step above, but this doesn’t do much in the realm of added information, and it has the potential to be misleading (putting a vehicle that isn’t being developed in the teaser)

overall it’s not too big of a deal but it would’ve been nicer if we had something that gave us more

Im a little disappointed with the community... We got some great art... Possibly teasing a larger map. Sure its a bit weird to include the ATVs if they aren't really at least a concept, but I'm happy to have it anyway. Why do some people have to be negative about it?

 

People will complain about already having seen that location, lol.

I would like to see it as well, tho, just to see if the distances in game are the same. But I don't know what we will miss out from the other location if that happens

 

But are the ATVs a planned vehicle or not? For me, that answer still isn't clear...

 

I don't think the art is bad, it looks good, but the issue is it generated a hype for a content that we already knew was coming and alraedy had a look at on other teasers.

I think it lacked some expectations management, that's it, it wasn't an awesome teaser as it was told to be as the content of it was something already seen before and discussed enough, but the artwork was really great

 

Is that a city/oil refinery? in the background? Some concrete towers, chimneys, large rocks or just dust clouds?

 

i feel that its not the focus for this update, but its a vehicle that might be made next update or something

I never acted that way, you're taking it personally when in reality I have nothing against you in particular. I (and many others) feel like this teaser was overhyped and are understandably disappointed.

I never said the artwork was bad either; it's clear that the person behind it is very talented and the artwork itself is amazing. The fact that such a beautiful piece of digital art was spoiled by it being overhyped definitely adds to this teaser having been handled terribly.

I'm not mad nor am I annoyed, I'm simply disappointed. That's all I have ever said. Making stuff up to make me look bad is not okay either.

Why do people believe that a one-time game purchase entitles you to every scrap of information that the dev team has?

Settle down and be grateful that we even have such a game being made for us. It's a piece of concept art, not a manifesto.

 

Looks like something relating to the vehicle was in fact a teaser after all- likely the dirt on the tires, if I had to hazard a guess.

We are confused. And bearing in mind that Leeloo, by virtue of being a person, is bound by the same logic as the rest of us, she likely saw this coming.
Which means that we're probably supposed to be confused.

 

my theory is that the buggy will come just not in this update so people don't flip a switch when the buggy isn't in the update

 

Honestly at this point i dont know what to believe or not 1 moment were told its not the next they are making it sound like it is
