Yeah, no plans for a railroad. It'd be hard to fit in unless it was 70% plus underground. Edit : I could make the paths the rails would be laid, but I can't use blender or anything to model rails that'd work. I may plan out a route and let one of you guys add in rails. The Grass will be changed later on. The dark brown forest floor has been brightened slightly and is a bit greenish. The grass texture does look pretty good up close, but I'm biased. Is the color off or the actually texture crappy in your opinion? I'll update tomorrow with a download link. Its playable, but highway and roads are nowhere near finished. I will warn you, it is a big file as of now. I have ALOT of assets and don't want to delete anything until the map is done, editing wise. 5+ GB I believe......

Here's the first version I'm releasing for Appalachia. It's nowhere near done, so play with that in mind. It's currently 5.77gb, very large now but will be alot smaller when done. FPS can be an issue, turn down grass density and graphics if you have alot of problems. I believe alot of it is the sheer amount of creek rocks and trees, so I'll be playing with ideas on how to get better looks but be easier to load for weaker computers. yep tried the same, also crashed, even unpacking the map and leaving it in unpacked mods don't work i think this map need a ''mod_info'' folder at least considering the amount of stuff left behind from official maps this is a not a very optimized and ''dev quality'' mod as stated edit: is this a map to recreate cyrodiil from elder scrolls? there's a map on the mod folder from it lol
Looking very good so far! I would suggest adding some time trials, both street courses as well as rally courses. Also this is more of a personal thing but if you do make trials could they preferably be between 1:30 to 2:30 in length? Thanks in advance
Update coming within the next day or two, I still gotta figure out why it's not working properly for you guys. I play with 300 plus mods active and it loads for me everytime in about 3 min. Expect the fix on Feb 7th. I do plan on alot of cool races/time trials, so those will come later on. I specifically want the Dragstrip to work properly, have a few redlight street drag missions, and I'm thinking about adding the truck pull sled into this map for truck pull missions. I've been adding in a rail system, which is a very slow process. Yeah, I didn't really want to even attempt release until done, but oh well. I'll fix it to a playable state and release that soon. I'm not even gonna attempt to clean the folder up until EVERYTHING with the editor is done. As for the Cyrodiil question, I'm not sure. I got the heightmap from Google, so could be a Bethesda heightmap.
it's not working because the mod file structure is incorrect, i guess it works in your end because you made the mod and have additional files somewhere comparing with a working mod might help i think
If you read my post it looks like it's trying to pull things from other map mods other people don't likely have (though I do have Lake Farsoe) which could be causing the crash. ex: "/levels/lakefaroe/art/CustomModels/Buildings/FireStation/FireStation1_d" "/levels/tillamook/art/shapes/buildings/eca_cubemap_metalblurred/cubemap/skybox_1.png"
Update v0.02 Working Link, tested Myself with zero mods. Download and drop Zipped Folder into Repo Folder. This update is small, not much changed since I had a few problems with textures when fixing everything. Trailer roofs are orange, there is alot of missing assets from renaming stuff, and frame rate can be below 30 at times. I've started a rail system as stated before, it's VERY short as of now, but I will continue working on that. I'd planned on redoing the suburbs area with pbr assets but can't seem to find the video that had the link, so I may end up having to reuse the original Garfield Heights Homes. Small expansion to Beamsburgh using east coast city layout, nowhere near done obviously. Yeah, ignore that..... I have to place everything in the spawn town again. The props were placed by the creator of tillamook. When I used my heightmap, I wanted to keep the starting town as a nod to his map, as it's actually REALLY good. Because of this, the assets think they are in the tillamook folder. Simple fix, and I plan on placing everything again soon. I specifically need you guys to try the offroad trails. Look for invisible collisions around the rock courses and hill climb areas too. I want to know if you guys can climb the waterfall too. What are your PC specs? Did you clear cache? Do you have Tillamook? Tillamook may cause issues with this map for now, that will be fixed soon too. Its probably gonna require beefier serups, I get 30 fps on normal graphics with an hp laptop. I know it works and is playable, tested this myself with no mods at all besides this obviously.
