    Just a quick video I made to showcase what I described as the new AWD etk's galloping under load in my previous post (Tested with both ETK-K series AWD and 800 Series AWD same results)
    No mods ofcourse, car is using the 4.4l v8 with all power upgrades, race drivetrain components, race 6 speed manual 65kw shot of nitrous is not activated.) Seems to happen with any other high power config so I don't believe its related to the power but the base AWD system itself, Race AWD transfercase needed?

    Run 1: ECS & TCS off AWD full power straight pull car seems to "gallop" through 1st and 2nd gear, into 3rd gear no gallop
    Run 2: ECS & TCS off AWD full power slide car seems to gallop severely in 2nd and 3rd
    Run 3: Car is in 2WD mode (No ECS & TCS active) (Same exact thing happens with RWD transfer case cars) Car has no galloping whatsoever in a straight pull or a power slide.

    That's fair, although in my defense, I don't think I've ever looked at devblog. When updates come out I'm drawn to the patch notes tab of the news screen, and none of the search terms I would think to use bring results in the patch notes mentioning the change. I'm a bit taken a back at the snark for not noticing its postage in the devblog when I'd said I didn't see it in the patch notes.

    Thank you for that. Although I would still like to see a suitable in game solution to this gameplay issue too, and I hope the devs make just that.

    I'm not a potamologist* but the inclination of the river is unnaturally steep and it looks ridiculous flowing steady at only 3 m/s. Maybe it should be more like a white water rapid (0:22):

    *Potamology is the scientific study of rivers.

    Does anyone notice the new ETKs understeer way too much on lower speeds, even with Sport 2R tires on?
    Also, the G923 racing wheel feedback feels off compared to other vehicles.

    Having a rear-impact with the sedan versions of the 800-series causes the front bumper to become invisible (notice it's not broken or detached, I have a video of this happening too, and I have no mods that conflict with the 800-series). I tested similar impacts with the wagon versions and other bumpers too, and it seems to only affect sedans.

    Edit: After much testing and rear-ending around 30 cars, I realized this only happens to the Rennspecht and Knallhart versions. This issue stops after swapping their engines in them for a new one.

    The music "Lonle" in Credits section ends very earlier than it should be; After minutes that music have ended, Credits will end. You can go and look/hear in Credits
    Tip : When music is ending, it's fading (Music length is Ok, but it's fading and ending so early)

    Great update, but forced induction breaks many cars for me. This includes some vanilla cars, like the Vivace and Barstow. It's not the worst thing in the world, but just unfortunate because I can no longer use many of my performance builds. It doesn't seem to have an issue with anything else. This might be due to having mods enabled, though.

    I do believe that transmissionShiftDelay is redundant in its current implementation, considering, as I said, 90% of the time shifting is determined by how quick you are and not necessarily mechanical limitations. If i wanted to shift quickly, I should theoretically just be able to slam gears with quick clutch inputs and not have to wait for the game to tell me "nuh uh uh, you cant shift that fast because there is this arbitrary delay value preventing me from allowing this." It's ridiculously unrealistic that there is no dynamics with this. A transmission is like, one of the most dynamic parts of driving, and for there to be any form of arbitrary limit on shift time is silly, outside of absolutely mechanical limitations.

    Even then, shifting as fast as a quick automatic or borderline dual clutch has and can be achieved by humans, it's not hard to find online.
    My point is ultimately that a fixed rate of delay completely draws away from the immersion, even if its on keyboard and mouse. If i want to shift slower, i can hold the keys down longer before releasing them. I do not need such a restrictive value to tell me otherwise. Maybe if it was much more lenient, in that it prevented inhumanly fast shifts (think PDK quick) then sure. But having it be as restrictive as it is means i cant hardly shift quick booking it around a race track, or at all. Literally everyone I've spoken to has griped about the shift delay, and nearly all of them have driven or tracked a manual transmission car. It would take no effort for them (assuming its just adjusting one value) to change the delay to act more as a failsafe to prevent abuse, rather than what it feels like currently.

    I like this update, minus the ecu having control of the boost. I’m dropping an etk focused mod pack and I want to add adjustable boost levels but can’t figure it out . Outside of that I love it so far. I made an exhaust burple feature into my exhaust mod for and giggles . Here’s the link. Let me More your thoughts

    I've done a large amount of racing aerodynamics research, and found an oversight with the K-Series GT-IV that's contributing to its aero balance issues. Hood louvers and vents contribute greatly to the aerodynamic performance of a car, especially at the front. On a 2004 Audi A4 race car and a '98 Mustang race car, even SCCA spec louvers as restricted in size as the GT-IV's contribute anywhere from 15 lbs to 40 lbs of downforce at 100 mph. With less restrictive louver sizes and designs, it can be closer to 70 lbs. The GT-IV's lightweight race hood with louver makes 0 front downforce, exactly the same as the OEM stock hood. Maybe 1 lb more if you want to be optimistic.

    Changing only the hood to make ~20-30 lbs of downforce and nothing else would improve the aero balance of the car and improve its mid-speed and high-speed handling substantially, while being fully realistic.

    As much as these things may seem little, by the same virtue they make a lot of difference to those of us who are truly pushing your software. It would be awesome if you guys fixed this, and because we are here, stuff like the Covet not having a proper RHD automatic shift lever... Neither may be an outright bug, but I would consider both an oversight.
